Canoe Ridge Vineyard Tasting Room

We visited here on July 4, 2024. Not many places open that day, compared to usual. We were REALLY glad this one was, as the wine was spectacular. The tasting room was set up comfortably, with some fun accents. The host was super pleasant. We had a marvelous experience, and left with some wine!

**Review Update** We grabbed a bottle of Canoe Ridge The Explorer to branch out from our usual faves (J Lohr, Rodney Strong, St. Michelle Indian Wells)... I think we got a bad bottle?? Turning kind of brownish. Terribly sad. Should not have been sold if it was past prime. We did not delay to drink it once purchased either.**update**Canoe Ridge reached out and sent a new bottle of the Expedition. MUCH BETTER then the one we had purchased at the local grocery store. The color, smell, everything was completely different (I truly think the distributor should have pulled the bottle we bought previously). Thank you, Canoe Ridge for sending the complementary bottle. It's lovely. ??

Stopped In for a glass today and the service was 10/10! Very friendly staff, and great wine! Next visit to town, we will be coming back.

Blair the manager is fantastic. She is the most open, accommodating, communicative person. She knew all of the wines and could explain what wines we were tasting and the flavors we would experience. Lauren would help in any way possible. Would recommend this testing room to anyone wanting a fantastic experience.

What a treat! They were so generous with their time & helped us find other wineries in the area and gave us dinner recommendations. Such fun and friendly people here! Definitely a great place to stop in and enjoy great wine! Thanks for the hospitality .

I had an amazing experience today for a wine tasting. Blair the manager and Lauren went above and beyond to help us have fun. The wine was great and perfect flight options. I will definitely be back and recommend this vineyard.

I enjoyed the wines and the space. My partner thought they were overall too sweet. We're not fans of tasting rooms that do not waive fees for bottles purchased. I would have bought bottles, except for that.

Love the outside seating. While this place is young they are on the right road and doing it all right!! Loved the ROSE

This was my first time at Canoe Ridge and it was lovely. Mary is knowledgeable, friendly and attentive. She recommended the vagabond which was an excellent choice. I also appreciated the use of the upstairs area where my husband and I enjoyed our beverages in a clean and cozy environment. The additional amenities in the restroom, and warm local touches made our experience that much better. Thanks Mary!

I picked up a bottle of expedition, Merlot horse heaven hills, 2019 from a little hole in the wall in Jefferson New Hampshire. “Gorgeous dark berry, aromas mix with flavors of currant, cherry and a candied violet hint on the long silky finish” and it is just that. So smooth and delicious.

Quiet space to chill and taste some unique wines. Very accommodating to switch flight offerings to your tastes.
