Great red wines, nice Red Mountain experience.
Had a wonderful time at Canvasback! Marjorie was great and the Riesling was fabulous. Peaceful, beautiful and we would love to visit again!
We had a delightful afternoon, with Tim being utterly charming and happy to educate and entertain us. He was so knowledgeable and helpful. The wine was delicious and we would have loved to stay all afternoon.
They have great wine!! It’s the service that is poor
Much better wine is available without the attitude or inflated price. Former members. Try Pepperbridge instead.
Nice little tasting building. Views of the farms surrounding the area. Free-range turkeys roam the area. This place is owned by Duckhorn wineries. It has the best Cabernet Sauvignon in eastern washington/oregon. Prices are high.
Connor and Tim were so kind and hospitable from the moment we spoke on the phone. You can tell these guys are passionate about the work they do and that the wine is something to celebrate. It was cool that they had live music today… Really like the bottle of Ciel du Cheval so it came back with me! ?
Chill winery, friendly & knowledgeable staff. Great place for sunny afternoon tasting. Bark charcuterie was perfect for pups while we enjoyed the cheese tray.
Toby, our server, provided us with GREAT service. He was very knowledgeable and the wine was excellent! We were not rushed through the experience. He was very attentive and it was an awesome experience. Can't wait to go back, since we're members now:)
Incredible wines, fantastic hospitality!

Amazing Red Mountain reds!
This is a bit of a pre-review for an upcoming tasting at Canvasback based on our booking experience. We're staying the night at Walla Wall on our way to Yellowstone, and decided to take the opportunity to book a wine tasting at Canvasback. We enjoy taking the opportunity to visit wineries, and have been fortunate enough to visit numerous wineries during our travels (Oregon and California in the US, France, Sicily and Italy, South Africa, etc.)I had quite a negative experience/reaction when booking a tasting a Canvasback (hence the initial review). After booking the tasting and any food/snacks to accompany the tasting, they prompt for payment up front. A number of tastings we've been too have required payment up front, so that wasn't uncommon ... however it then prompts for tip and then indicates that the reservation is completely non-refundable. Having worked previously in the food service industry, I believe in tipping on the service PROVIDED ... seems extremely presumptuous to ask for a tip up front. What was truly off-putting was that the entire reservation (with tip and food) was completely non-refundable. This initially caused me to cancel out of the booking process ... though I did ultimately end up booking. Hopefully the tasting experience will be enjoyable, but I'm admittedly already a bit jaded.
Wow! Incredible staff, wine and view!
Great wines (a little pricey), nice outdoor lawn. Appetizer food plates available and tasty. Really enjoyed my time there.
Great wines, best in Walla Walla!
