Having booked months ago for a party of 8 and informed via email from Kelly that it would be $30 per person, we were updated by Major that it would be $50 per tasting, refundable with $99 per person spend. He also informed us there would be an automatic 20% gratuity per taster. We were not enthused at spending $500 for 8 of us to taste 5 wines and decided to hit the road. Unfortunate. Great looking spot and excited to taste there. Two other people tasting on a perfect Sunday afternoon.

Excellent wines. Second time. Good wine-snack options—from charcuterie to Marcona almonds. Friendly, attentive service. Industrial deceptively simple décor—like if Nirvana and Zeplin made a tasting room together.

This place is a must see. We visited 5 wineries over the weekend in Walla Walla, and this winery was the most unique and had wine for every person.

5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️, we’d give 50 stars.
If you’re in the area and you’re looking for a fantastic wine tasting & some paired snacks and charcuterie this is your place!
We were driving back home for the holidays and decided to stop in. We were greeted with the most beautiful Christmas decor and friendly faces.
Major & Aly at the walk up bar were amazing!!! We joked about bringing them along the rest of our 20 hour drive, just because of how well they treated us. They knew so much about the wine and us being “wanna-be wine connoisseurs” loved it. They made us really enjoy our experience and we will be back because of them and the top tier wine quality.
Parking: Easy, free street parking. Plenty.
Wheelchair accessibility: Easy access to front doors.

Last year, my family and I took a trip to Walla Walla. As a big Charles Smith wine fan, I was excited to enjoy a few Syrah’s at the tasting room downtown.Upon arrival we were greeted by the manager who seemed to be hyper focused on figuring out who was paying the tab. When that person was identified, he instantly became less courteous to everyone besides that one person. His service became blatantly disingenuous and we did not enjoy our time. I was disappointed and unfortunately can’t say I’m interested in purchasing Charles Smith wines any longer.

Title: A Wine Tasting Gem with Outstanding Staff!Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ (5/5)I recently had the pleasure of visiting the House of Smith's wine tasting room, and it was an exceptional experience. From the moment I walked in, the staff made me feel right at home. They were not only welcoming but also incredibly knowledgeable about their wines. What made this visit even more special was the staff's attention to detail. I happened to be wearing a Star Wars shirt with an X-Wing on it, and to my surprise, one of the staff members noticed and crafted me an origami X-Wing. It was a delightful and unexpected touch that showed just how attentive and friendly the staff are.The selection of wines at House of Smith's is impressive, and their expertise in helping you find the perfect wine is top-notch. Whether you're a wine connoisseur or a novice, this place caters to all.Overall, I can't recommend House of Smith's wine tasting room enough. It's not just about the wine; it's about the wonderful staff and the warm atmosphere that make your visit truly memorable. Don't forget to wear your Star Wars gear – you might just leave with a fantastic souvenir!

Great service, beautiful wine.
Our favorite tasting room downtown. Really cool space, converted auto garage. The wine was delicious. The beautiful and super knowledgeable steward DINA made our wine experience at House of Smith's very enjoyable and enlightening. She share lots on interesting info, but didn't hover and let us enjoy our time there. Great music. Highly recommend.
Awesome wine and fun staff. Become a wine member!
House of Smith was absolutely fantastic! Two college friends and I planned a quick trip to Walla Walla for a weekend and rolled into town on Sunday afternoon. This was our second stop and we couldn't have been more thrilled with our experience. Adam was a great host and went above and beyond to share about the space, the wine, and the story, including sharing his favorite wines with us. The space was also breathtaking. We loved the cool industrial vibe and how it felt like we could chat, laugh, and tell stories without disrupting other groups. Would be a beautiful space for a birthday party, small event, or even an intimate wedding. We all easily could've walked out the door with several bottles, but we did walk away with a few absolute gems! This place will most definitely be a must-visit anytime we're in Walla Walla again.
Service was slow. They seemed disinterested The wines were ok. We ordered the expensive flight but they substituted one of the wines with a younger vintage. At $50 for the flight it was disappointing.
