The food was good but the service was some of the best I have had in a long time.

So good, big portions. We got an appetizer, and two dinner plates and spent maybe 51$

long delay on service. mushy tomatoes, runny refried beans. not impressed at all.
Beef Enchilda was mostly potatoes. Taco was mediocre, too much lettuce not enough beef. Service was slow and sloppy. Will not go back.

Fajitas had very little meat and were mostly onions. Tortillas appear to be cheap store bought very little flavor. Was not impressed.
Food was okay. The lunch chimichanga was good/average. My child relleno was inedible as it tasted like they fried it in dirty fish fryer oil. Excellent service and neat old decor with lots of murals.

Went for dinner with my family and 3 kids. Was seated quickly and given chips and salsa. Started off well got our order in and figured 20-30 min tops. Waited close to an hour with hungry kids. Was not given any updates or checked up on anymore after drinks. They seemed more interested in closing the place down. Once the food came unfortunately it was not worth the wait. Worst Mexican food we have gotten at a restaurant. Beef chimichanga was terrible looked like a pop tart with a small amount of beef and vegetables in it. The fried chile with cheese was flavor less. It wasn’t very hot when it came out either like it had been sitting awhile. My daughter tamale was covered in hot cheese. Very odd. She barely ate it. The carne asada with shrimp did have ok flavor but small portion. They were closing up and after that wait we didn’t even want to complain about the food. We will never go back and definitely don’t recommend.
Chiquillas was highly recommended by the locals and our friends that were more familiar with the area. There weren't many customers when we arrived, but it still took about five minutes for us to be seated, and though water and chips were brought out shortly after, it was probably another 15-20 minutes before our order was taken.
The food was ok, but I feel like I had higher expectations because of how much everyone talked it up.
very salty food. Need Mexican spices, salt isn't a seasonioning
Service is always good along with the food. We’ve been eating here for years. Give it a try and see what you think.
Carna Asada plate is perfection! Love this place and great decorations for Holidays.
