Generous portions, strong menu and mostly quick service. This place is an old school diner. Think 70s to 90s decor. Lots of locals and moderately busy on an off season Thursday AM. The dated interior could be considered charming by some. Can’t rationalize 5 stars though. Fair value. Overall it’s a totally decent place but not quite special.
We absolutely enjoy each time we’ve eaten at Clarette’s over the last year. We really like being able to order breakfast anytime of the day, the clam chowder and fish dinner are another highlight meal we enjoy. The service is always superb and very welcoming.
I was looking for a nice sit down restaurant to eat at before leaving town for a 6 hour drive home. I picked Clarettes off google map and am glad I did. I was seated right away and my order was taken soon after. The serve all day breakfast a pleasant surprise. Delilah was my server. A perfect old school waitress. Two thumbs up. I had breakfast as pictured. Everything was cooked exquisitely and to perfection. Clarette's is a rarity in this quick paced world of fast food...
