Great food, drinks, and accommodations. Good service, private location surrounded by vineyards!

We are from Seattle and came for a romantic getaway at Eritage Resort- we were completely charmed. Our room was spotless, and opened to a lovely view of the peaceful lake, home to bullfrogs, geese, and turtles- we loved drinking morning coffee while watching and listening to them really throughout our stay. The swimming pool was perfect for cooling off - again so clean. All of the staff were warm and attentive, and the wines were excellent. Dog-friendly, impeccably clean, and surrounded by stunning scenery—Eritage is a true gem in Walla Walla wine country. We will be back!

The hotel is very nice and spacious. It is far away from the downtown area, it's kinda near a penitentiary, but the resort is secluded. Stayed in a bungalow, would definitely upgrade to a suite next time. Only for a bathtub, and to get away from the frogs. Room had a fireplace and large bathroom and balcony. Had a wine tasting at the hotel, and the wines with the view were great. Whenever I go back to Walla Walla, I will stay here.

My wife and I needed a getaway from Portland, Oregon for a weekend and this was just what we needed. Lots of sun, quiet, and relaxing with great food and service.

This property prioritizes profit over people. Our experience with Eritage was deeply disappointing and far from customer-focused. We booked our stay through Booking.com and received a confirmation email directly from Eritage that clearly stated they have a 48-hour cancellation policy—meaning cancellations up to 48 hours before the reservation would receive a full refund.

However, when we attempted to cancel within that window, Eritage refused to honor the very policy outlined in their own confirmation email, simply because the booking was made through a third-party site. This was never communicated upfront.

When I asked if we could at least reschedule the reservation for a future date, they declined without any flexibility or empathy. Instead, I was made to feel like the situation was entirely my fault—despite their lack of transparency and inconsistent policies.

Ultimately, this was a frustrating experience marked by poor communication and a clear disregard for customer satisfaction. I would strongly caution others to think twice before booking here.

If they are able to own up to their own policies and refund my booking I’ll remove this review.

Our family absolutely loves spending Easter weekend at this beautiful winery resort! The grounds are simply stunning—lush, picturesque, and perfectly maintained, with a serene lake that adds to the peaceful ambiance. The thick green lawn is ideal for the kids to run and play while we relax and enjoy the lovely outdoor seating area. Every year, the food is absolutely delicious, and the service is consistently exceptional. We’re so grateful for the thoughtful touches and the effort the staff puts into making Easter weekend truly special for the little ones. Thank you for another unforgettable stay!

A great relaxing beautiful place to stay. Not far out of town, but close enough to still enjoy everything Walla Walla has to offer. Breakfasts were great and both dinners were very tasty. Good happy hour too.

I booked a table at Eritage over a month ago, specifically choosing the restaurant based on their online menu, which included an “Earth” option. When making the reservation, I also noted that we are plant-based, assuming this would be acknowledged. However, upon arrival, we were informed that the restaurant was offering a limited special menu for February—one that had maybe one salad option for plant-based. This change was not communicated in advance, nor was it reflected in the reservation notes.

Our server seemed completely unprepared. Instead of proactively addressing our dietary needs, she simply asked us what we wanted to order—despite there being no suitable options.
I know that in situations like this, the server should immediately consult the chef to see what accommodations could be made. Instead, she appeared clueless and ill-equipped to handle the situation.

A restaurant that presents itself as a fine dining establishment should be prepared for guest preferences, especially when given ample notice. Unfortunately, Eritage failed on all fronts. This was one of the worst dining experiences we’ve had, and we will not be returning.

The rooms are clean, spacious and very comfortable. We stayed in a bungalow with no bathtub (only available in the hotel rooms). Service from the front desk was excellent. It is a good distance from the city, so that you can avoid the daily buzz, but it is close enough to go there if needed.
Breakfast needs improvements. It looked and tasted like a simple diner. Some options from the menu provided the night we checked in (e.g. Eggs Benedict) were unavailable - and the options are very limited.

My husband and I needed a quick getaway and the Eritage caught my attention right away as a good place for a romantic weekend. This resort is wonderful. We had the best time. We stayed in room 10 and it was fabulous. The staff was attentive, nice, helpful, and went above and beyond to ensure we had a great visit. The food in the restaurant is delicious. We enjoyed the complimentary tasting for guests. The happy hour menu has some great options too. Breakfast, which is free (!!!), was fantastic. It is made to order. I had avocado toast (which was on their homemade focaccia) and it was to die for. I couldn't believe something so simple was so delicious. While the resort is a little out of town, we had no problem getting an Uber to and from. Our experience was more than I hoped for. Two suggestions though- ceiling fans in the rooms and upgrade tv/cable (ability to stream would be great). TV had a few issues the last night, but it was really late and we needed to go to bed anyway. Neither of these issues really affected our stay, and I would definitely stay again. I would love to go back during the summer!

We enjoyed their beautiful views and a delicious Thanksgiving dinner there this year! A lovely setting for a relaxed dinner with friends.

Great potential, but just not there yet, specifically regarding the food. There is now a vineyard above the pond outside the restaurant, so a nice view now. I've eaten there twice in the last 4 months and both times the food was just ok and did not match the price. Very limited desserts. Good wine and mixed drinks menu. If they got the food up to snuff, it will be a 5 star attraction and worth the drive. It's several miles north of Walla Walla.
