Had the huarache and torta and both were out of this world. Delicious sauces and the owner is awesome.

Excellent food and staff. The prickly pear water is a must try. Refreshing, unique and delicious.

Great food. It’s run by 2 people, so you have to be patient.

Food was incredible! The service was … weird. The owner seemed super stressed. Almost annoyed by the fact we were there. Who knows what is behind that. Maybe help called off last minute. But rarely had this kind of experience or treatment. But hey, you come for the food, right, and that was great. Super flavorful. Cheers.

This is the authentic Mexican food you would have if you visited a friends house for a meal and Grandma made dinner. Manuel and his Mom have created a slice of Mexican food heaven with great food, great stories and food made with love, as only a Grandma can. Will be going here every time we visit Walla Walla. Thank you Manuel!

We live in Walla Walla, and this is our second time at Grandma‘s kitchen. It is a very quaint and comfortable location in downtown Walla Walla. The owner is originally from Mexico. He and his mom work together in the kitchen.
The food is amazing! Try the nachos and then go from there. My wife had a tostada, and I had the burrito. We will definitely be back, again and again.

This restaurant is amazing. The care and attention showered on us (party of 9) was phenomenal. The food is even better. I had the fish burrito. Thicker than my forearm. The flavors will keep me coming back again and again.

Absolutely delicious Pibil, Pipian, Mole, and more. I hadn’t tried the Mayan-Yucatán Pibil before and I have to say it made one of if not the best taco I’ve ever had. Paired with the freshly made tortillas I don’t know how it could be beaten. Will be back!

Being from Texas, and having visited interior Mexico many times, I did not expect to find some of the absolute best Mexican food I’ve had in Walla Walla, Washington. Do yourself a favor and try the sopes. I had the pork pipian verde, and my husband had the pollo mole, they were both delicious. The spicy and mild salsas were both excellent. I’d never had mango pudding, but it was delicious,
topped with chopped toasted pecans.

5 Stars. The food was excellent. Lots of flavor very authentic The Tomatillo sauce was the best I have had. The food presentation was well done. The Mango pudding was delicious!! It also has a very complex flavor profile. They put out a little extra, for example putting a lime in the water. The chips and salsa try had a nice presentation. The proprietor and his help were very friendly and stopped by to check on us and we actually had a conversation. Theybpay attention to little details and make great food. Highly recommend this place and will be back!
