Needed some road food that wasn't "fast food". Found this gem at a gas station! Young man running the business was very friendly and patient with the gringos who had never seen more than 2 types of tamales. Prices were fair, each tamale was a 1/3 pound!Totally recommend. Go support these folks!
This was my first experience with Granny's tamales and it was excellent. Tamales were tasty really flavorful. Had sides of beans and rice and they were good too. Beans were really good. The amazing thing is I live in Milton-Freewater and ordered for a Friday and for some reason their truck wasn't going to be here. The son of the owner drove out and delivered the order himself. Truly the best tamales I've ever had! So flavorful and moist. I had the pork tamales and I am grateful for the suggestion of the staff. The sauce and toppings are bursting in flavor and complement the entree beautifully. Yum!
