Story Time… I live in Utah and one of my sweet friends mom passed away yesterday. I searched online for a place to send her a nice sweet treat! And for some reason, I just kept going back to your cute bakery. I went over your menu many times and finally decided on a yummy box of treats. I went ahead and placed the order and had it sent through DoorDash. I then called the bakery and asked them to write something on the box for me and gosh did they deliver. They wrote everything I wanted on the box and everything was delicious. My friend ended up texting me asking me where I got the yummy treats from when I told her the bakery She said “you were never going to believe this… That was my mom‘s favorite bakery and they ordered many birthday cakes from there.” My friend had never been there, but I feel as though her mom led me to order from your bakery.

Back around 2008 ish my dad my family we fixed their vehicles obviously we haven't lived in Walla Walla in a while but my sister tried to come by there because of what we did for John himself we were supposed to get free pastries and drinks for life every time that we came there obviously once per day but they never honored that which I think is really screwed up.
So years later I'm back here in town I'm a truck driver I pick up loads here now sometimes obviously I'm pretty sure they're not going to honor that because they're a bunch of liars and I don't know if John is still around but it's a shame that my family fixed their vans and they'll honor they just say we don't know nothing about it you can't prove it it's really screwed up!!!
One of these times I'm going to come by and see if possibly they can honor that but I'm still going to come by none the less obviously if they did honor it I'd only have a couple things of course I'm not going to just take a bunch of things people got to make a buck and run a business I get that!
I hope John is doing well this is definitely the best bakery and I've been across the whole country hands down they're still not a bakery that makes better Goods than John wheatlands!!!!

I ordered a cake to be sent to my friend via DoorDash and they wrote my digital note on the cake! Such a lovely touch! I had no idea they were going to do that. The cake looked amazing and my friend said it tasted just as good. Very reasonable price as well. I wish I was local I would come here everyday!

I just wanted to stop and say locals don't take this bakery for granted! I grew up in Walla Walla and my parents grew us up on this bread. I have since moved several places: Pullman, west WA, and now Denver CO and I HAVE YET to find another bakery that services good bread for daily needs as good as John Wheatlands has. The fact that their bread keeps really well is so awesome. I really miss being able to have bread as versatile as their French Boule. That bread can be used for anything and taste amazing: Sandwiches, french toast, toasted or plain, grilled cheese; we even backpacked with that bread! I wish more places had good local bakeries like this.

This bakery provided cookies for a community meeting. They were DELICIOUS! The staff had everything ready when I got there and the prices were very reasonable. Can't wait to go back!

I ordered a cake for my daughter’s 29th birthday. I requested a beach theme. I was going to be charged $25 extra for premium decorations. I was a little disappointed in that the cake decoration was only frosting. There was no premium anything. They did decrease the price $10 but I still paid $70 for a cake I could’ve done better myself! I went to Hobby lobby and bought some crystals and edible pearls and seashells, and fixed it up best I could probably will not purchase a cake here again
