In Walla Walla twice a year. This time tried Lodmell’s tasting room. Bought 4 bottles and last tonite tried the Sublime red blend. A real winner and good bang for the buck. I will get many more when we pass thru again in June.
Super friendly staff. Excellent wines. Sublime is one of our “go to” every day ones. Definitely worth checking out.

Excellent wine. Friendly service. A relaxing experience.
Small and intimate tasting room. Very conveniently located if you’re staying at the Marcus Whitman hotel. A great line up of whites and red wine, the Syrah and the sublime blend are both delicious. If you’re staying downtown I would definitely recommend this place as a stop on your wine tour!
My best friend and I stayed at the Marcus Whitman Hotel during our visit to Walla Walla, WA. Amazing hotel that also offers complimentary wine tastings to their guests. After spending a Saturday tasting and buying over 30 bottles each, we decided to head back to our hotel. We entered the tasting area, and we found that Lodmell Cellars was offering the tasting that evening. We were excited to try them, since we hadn't visited them before. The room was crowded, but the woman who said she was the owner and maker asked to see our IDs. We handed them to her, and she looked at them weirdly. My friend was born and raised in Oregon, and she had a change of address sticker on her's, but it was STATE ISSUED. She handed it back to her and was being extremely weird. I'm from Oklahoma and she scanned mine under a light, and then looked at me strangely. She pulled out a book of IDs and found Oklahoma's page and compared my ID to the ones shown in the book. They were identical. She went on to say that she couldn't give either of us a tasting and asked us to leave. We were extremely disappointed, and quite frankly, angry. We're both well over the legal drinking age, and we had legal, state-issued IDs. I don't understand why she wouldn't serve us except for that she thought her time was better spent with the older people in the tasting room.We were disgusted with how she treated us. In the end, I'm glad we got to see her true colors, because I'd rather buy bottles at a more worthy establishment.Avoid this business and spend your money at one of the many other Walla Walla wineries.
Lodmell Cellars was my second tasting room of the day and was my favorite by far. The wine-maker was serving the tasting and she was funny, easy to chat with, knowledgeable and generous with portions ;) We had an awesome time and she balanced everyone at the counter well and made us all feel at home and have fun. The wine was delicious, all reds if I remember correctly, and they go from dry to a dessert wine. Affordable prices, the $10 tasting fee goes towards any wine purchase but there is no pressure to buy if you don’t want to :) come to this little local tasting room, you won’t be disappointed!
