We are visiting from the East, Spokane for training and we dined here for dinner. The food portion were humongous with more left overs for the next day, the taste was delicious and the price was great for my budget! You gotta stop here for the food!!

Great food and you get so much food for such a moderate price. We love the Modern. It has always been our favorite Chinese food.

I have enjoyed the food so far. My partner and I have been craving that cheap east coast style Chinese food. We found the closest thing to it here. I love the egg rolls, the crab rangoon(crab puff), the beef lo mein, and the dumplings. I am a little more adventurous on ordering and haven't loved every thing weve tried but we all have different tastes.

Stopped for lunch. Hadn't been here in probably 20 years. Didn't care for the egg roll, but the rest was good. Service good. Place was clean. Lunch for 2 under $23, and we took home leftovers.

We all loved the food that was ordered. I had the chicken curry with white rice and it was delicious. Pictures below. The service was slow for having one other table but the wait was worth it. Highly recommend.

I've eaten here dozens of times, but today was not very good. The food was hot and fresh but was so lacking in flavor that I thought I'd had a recurrence of Covid. Terrible.

Sent 7 vets away for lunch. They didn’t want to serve that many people. What?!?

Went with my parents, the waiter knew what my father would order. Was so good we went back again during our 2 week stay with them. Went for lunch, and their lunch was so big we all took food home for later. Will stop by again when we are In that area.

Vegetarian options: They were more than willing to make any dish without meat, even put tofo in its place if wanted.

Visited this place in Walla Walla a week ago. We had a Thai dish with vegetables, chicken and a spicy peanut sauce. The atmosphere was clean and well decorated. The food was quite good an plentiful. Our server went out of his way to make our experience great. I’d definitely recommend visiting here for an inexpensive meal.

I enjoy reading about a family's history & their journey to making a better life for themselves.
The vegetable crispy roll was unique, large and crunchy good. The wontons were rather good. I believe the mustard is house made, and good. The plum sauce ? was also tasty. I ordered the house chow mein. Bland. I had takeout, so the next day, I tossed the sauce it came with and used toasted sesame oil, warmed it and sprinkled 5-spice. After a minute, I tossed in some of the dish. After it was heated, garnished it with soy sauce. It was better. I won't go back though.
