I've eaten here dozens of times, but today was not very good. The food was hot and fresh but was so lacking in flavor that I thought I'd had a recurrence of Covid. Terrible.

Sent 7 vets away for lunch. They didn’t want to serve that many people. What?!?

Went with my parents, the waiter knew what my father would order. Was so good we went back again during our 2 week stay with them. Went for lunch, and their lunch was so big we all took food home for later. Will stop by again when we are In that area.

Vegetarian options: They were more than willing to make any dish without meat, even put tofo in its place if wanted.

I enjoy reading about a family's history & their journey to making a better life for themselves.
The vegetable crispy roll was unique, large and crunchy good. The wontons were rather good. I believe the mustard is house made, and good. The plum sauce ? was also tasty. I ordered the house chow mein. Bland. I had takeout, so the next day, I tossed the sauce it came with and used toasted sesame oil, warmed it and sprinkled 5-spice. After a minute, I tossed in some of the dish. After it was heated, garnished it with soy sauce. It was better. I won't go back though.

Don't waste your time. Mediocre, poorly prepared and seasoned food.
This was my first trip, and my last.
I got Beef Chow Fun, Mongolian Beef, and Hot and Sour Soup. Not a small order.
The beef was spongy and poorly prepared. It appeared to have been over marinated, having absorbed too much corn starch and liquid aminos.
The noodles were over cooked, and they hadn't been stir fried at all.
The soup...?
Hot and Sour Soup is my gage for Chinese restaurants. If the soup is decent, everything else follows.
This soup was clear and amber. It smelled and tasted like diluted vinegar. Vinegar is a component in this soup, but this was just disgusting.
Don't waste your time or money.

We took our son and daughter-in-law out for their anniversary and it was wonderful! Great service and plentiful, scrumptious food.We will most definitely be back!

The portions are AMAZING. My wife and I split one order of pineapple chicken. The portion was so large we had Three meals out of one order, and, it was delicious. We HIGHLY recommend.

I really enjoyed dining here with my family. The prices are very fair and the portions are huge. The staff is also very friendly and I would definitely recommend eating here. The only reason I did not give 5 stars is because when I got food to go, my orange chicken was rather soggy, but that is not the fault of the restaurant. Unfortunately that happens with food in to go containers.

The modern has made a comeback. The portions are huge as ever and at the same prices if im not mistaken. They have not raised any prices from inflation. The chicken and BBQ Pork never disappoints. The vegetables are fresh and delicious. The rice is cooked to perfection. A few years ago I don't know what the owners and family were going through but the restaurant is clean again. There is no longer dust falling from the ceiling. The seating appears to have been re-apholstered. The tables are clean. The staff have always been very friendly and helpful. The booth partician walls are probably due for a fresh coat of paint but that's just to beautify and get rid of stains because they are clean. Please come back and give them a chance, this beautiful and locally owned restaurant is a staple of walla walla and it needs to be here for generations to come.

Parking: Big parking lot with an abundance of space.
