Tom, who works at the downtown location will keep you laughing throughout your visit. The wines are divine—we loved them all!!! Um...wow. On a recent trip to Walla Walla we thought we'd try this place out and it was well worth the visit. Some of the most amazingly yummy reds you will taste will be found here! Such a hidden gem...can't wait for the February 2026 Reserve release...OMG...so good!

I fell in love with Moonbase for a variety of reasons including the wine. We made reservations, were warmly greeted and our table set up. Darling modern tasting room in downtown WW. The tasting room manager was friendly, very informative and engaged us in the wine. We also got to meet Drew the owner and winemaker. We got educated on wine and it was wonderful, he was informative, friendly and it helped us enjoy and appreciate the wine even more. We bought several bottles and look forward to drinking it at home and of course going back.

We were recommended by a couple other wineries to check out Moonbase. Thanks for the tasting! I enjoyed the Sauvignon Blanc, the Merlot from the vineyard at the Rocks had that distinct palate and nose, and check out the Petit Verdot.
First time visiting Walla Walla and I’m glad we found ourselves at Moon Base! Will was working and we enjoyed all of the interesting information he shared with us! He seemed happy to answer any questions we had. We learned a lot and went home with a delicious bottle of wine. Can’t wait to share our ‘LGM’ ? with some friends!

Lovely wines (mostly reds) and welcoming and knowledgeable staff. Kid and dog friendly! Fairly new winery, but don’t let that discourage you. You will find some delicious, easy to drink reds and 1-2 whites. Give them a visit.
