Thank you Karie & staff today for an exceptional tasting and “tour” of wine info. Thanks for accommodating us. Reservations recommended though.

I have always had delightful experiences at Northstar! This year we booked their Food and Wine Pairing experience, and it blew us away! There was a spiced turkey meatball, a buttery polenta cake with various mushrooms, a really delicious kebab skewer, and of course amazing companion wines that really complimented each dish. Our server was an absolutely delightful angel who really knew her stuff! She was attentive, really fun to chat with, and made us feel very special. I loved picking her brain about the different wines, and she was never stumped by a single question (I ask a lot of them). When I mentioned that I was surprised a merlot wasn't in the tasting, she immediately got me some merlots to try. I ended up liking one so much that I bought a large format bottle of it!
I think at this point I just have to make Northstar an annual visit whenever we are in the area. It is just hard to stay away from a winery that has such excellent wine and staff!

Northstar Winery Is one of my favorite places to stop in Walla Walla. The staff are super friendly and knowledgeable and the wine speaks for itself. Delicious! Can’t wait for my next visit.

For our 25th wedding anniversary, I wanted to find unique experiences to enjoy, and the blending experience at Northstar was perfect! We spent two hours learning about wine, what our taste buds prefer and creating our own red blends. Can’t wait to toast with our wine next year!
The best wines had a great experience sitting outside on the patio. Our hostess Lynn is so knowledgeable really helped us decide our choices. We did join the wine club so we can enjoy those wines back home.

We enjoyed our visit to Northstar Winery so much. Our sommelier (wine steward/expert) Ayana was extremely knowledgeable and attentive. It was a pleasure talking with her and even though she was splitting her time with 2 other parties we never felt rushed or that her attention was elsewhere.We did the standard $20 tasting flight, Ayana brought each wine to us separately, told us a little about the wine and then gave us time to enjoy it before bringing the next sample. She asked us our opinions of the wines and we discussed them a little between glasses too.We have been to 8 wineries in the past 4 days and she was by far the best sommelier we have had.
