Another "most improved" review. They have upped their game. We had incredible service, and the recommendations by the waiter (Justin - a total pro) were spot on. We enjoyed both the Zozonna and the Carbonara and were glad we had room for the Tiramisu desert. They added on and the room we ate in was beautiful and much quieter than the main dining area.

Hands down my favorite place to have dinner. Impeccable service, pasta and pizza to die for, always a chill and pleasant vibe. If you’re not making this a regular spot for dinner, what are you even doing?

We dined there this past Monday ... it was a very disappointing experience. This restaurant has little to do with Italian cooking. We made the mistake of ordering all three specials. The Foccacia special was just barely warm and soggy, they took it back. The specials salad was better, but the Spicy Cesar was just a bunch of radicchio which was so tough to chew that it felt like rabbit food! The special Bucatini was also an odd dish... the slices of sausage in this pasta dish were nothing but weird... overall, little flavor and nothing Italian about that special. We finally had to order one of their very basic pasta dishes to have a satisfying dinner. A note to finish.. we had requested a booth when making our reservation. When we walked in, all five in the front of the restaurant were empty, but we were sent to the back. When we left the restaurant after a sad meal, I noticed that there was at least one booth in front was still unoccupied. Am not sure how this restaurant gets all the cloud it has. The wine list is certainly something else .. but the kitchen is just a big fail.

We had dinner at Passatempo at the recommendation of person we met on the golf course. What a great experience and meal. We ate at the bar, which was filled with patrons as well. Food was unique. Tasteful. And our server (bartender) was exceptional. Will definitely go there again.

What a lovely Italian restaurant to have dinner at. I had pinwheel lasagna, which was AMAZING. We sat at the bar and talked to other customers. Our waitress was a gem and the food was great.

They specialize in home made pastas. The various sauces our group had were all very good but every dish came with too much grated cheese on it. I would recommend asking for a bowl of grated cheese for the table instesf so you can all put on the amount that you like.

If I could give Passatempo 10/5, I would. My husband and I visit Walla Walla frequently for wine tasting, and after one visit, Passatempo became a must-stop every time we’re in town.

If you’re looking for a beautiful atmosphere, handmade food, and exceptional service, this is the place. Reservations are a must—plan at least a couple of weeks in advance. We’ve never had a bad experience here.

Our top recommendations: the carbonara, focaccia, meatballs, and truly any of their pizzas. The cocktails are outstanding—Forest is an incredible mixologist who’s made us several off-menu drinks, all perfectly balanced.

For dessert, don’t miss the tiramisu and an espresso martini (made the right way).

Came hundreds of miles away and heard this was the Italian restaurant to go to. Don’t waste your money it’s way overrated…it was my wife’s birthday tonight and they sat us behind the bar not in the plant and fire table section (it’s fine but I would have waited for an open table there and they didn’t give an option). Was greeted at the table fast but then it took quite a while for the server to come back. Once we ordered, we got the Caesar salad to split. It was such a small portion and tasted so fishy it was inedible. I love Caesar salad but no way anyone can eat this. We got the pasta for $26 and it was tasty but the portion was so small. Go to Olive Garden instead trust me. Wish I could get that $100 back and nothing done special for my wife’s birthday. I will never come back again

Incredible hospitality and food. Seasonal dishes are always rotating and support local farmers. Best bar in town if you want to go the cocktail route, incredible wine list and house wines from The Walls Vineyards. Service is always outstanding, if Jen is your server, count yourself lucky! She’s the best.
