This was a perfect casual dinner. My burger was perfection, the Cobb salad was fantastic and another member of our party had the dip which was excellent. Too many tvs around but it wasn’t noisy and the service was great. This place is a definite yes in my book.

We stopped in to Red Monkey on our travels through Walla Walla. The service was a little slow at first, but I think there was some confusion with the wait staff as to who was serving us. After that got situated things were great. Food was pretty good! I enjoyed the fried pickles, and the kids liked their milkshakes.
But, this blew my mind! My daughter left her purse there. We didn’t realize it until we were on our way back home (6 hours away). Without hesitation the worker that answered the phone said he would mail it to us. On top of that, the restaurant paid the shipping cost! That is some insane customer service. We really appreciated them going above and beyond to help us out. Go show them some love if you are ever in Walla Walla!

We were here fairly early on a Saturday afternoon. Service was top notch, our server Kayla was friendly and attentive. The Burgers were good sized, GF options, cooked well with great flavor. The fish and chips were wonderfull, batter was fried just right, had 2 size options which worked out great for appetites.
Dietary restrictions: Wife was really pleased with Gluten Free hamburger bun.

Pleasing experience. Had a small issue with unusually slow service and table clearing/bussing, but overall the restaurant, menu, and staff met with my expectations. Staff was friendly and the food was hot. The menu was a little too sophisticated for my son (4yrs), but I think it's the delicious flavor profile I tasted in the House Mac & Cheese that confused his "from-the-box" sensibilities.
BTW, turns out that the service issue was training related. The manager did not assign a temp server to my table prior to sending ours on break. Explains why our glasses were empty, dirty plates not removed, dessert never offered, and at least a dozen other customers served by wait staff within ten feet of my table. Apparently, wait staff is trained to intentionally ignore the out stretched hands of other customers begging for attention if the table is already assigned.
The manager apologized profusely so I turned down the comp. I'm not there to exploit mistakes. I just want a smooth, hassle free dining experience. Hopefully, T.E.A.M. has become part of their service imperative moving forward.
Anyway, we've all been there. Nothing new under the son. Grace, forgiveness, and encouragement is what's important. Oh, and solid customer service helps, too. Made my list of first choice options.

From the moment we walked in we knew we were going to enjoy ourselves. Onion Rings! Our food was absolutely delicious and more than we could eat. Our server Tegan was an absolute doll! Friendly, attentive, and a joy to chat with. We will definitely be back on our next trip to Walla Walla.
P.S. ...Tegan, the dessert you recommended was great!

There’s one reason to come here and it’s for the onion rings!!
Ok and maybe if you’re having a large group of friends it’s good for that too. They have a good selection of draft beers.
The onion rings are hand-dipped Walla Walla sweets and the breading is perfect! I had the vegetarian sandwich which was actually really good. Some of our group had burgers and loved them. I tried a local beer and liked it.
The atmosphere is fine but TGIFridays vibes. The staff appeared to be helping us against their will a bit. The bartender was friendly but the severs were arguing over who was going to help us. After a long drive to get to Walla Walla, it was a bit annoying.

My wife and I love to try places we've never to been for dinner. After galavanting all across the Eastern Washington countryside on roller coaster roads one day, we found ourselves with Walla Walla in between us and home. After searching Google, we decided that The Red Monkey has the best name, do we went there. We had DaVinci rolls for an appetizer, she had Texas tacos, I had fish and chips. It was all more than we could finish. Everything was fantastic. The server was terrific, helpful and friendly. We didn't have to ask for anything forgotten and nothing needed corrected. It was just really good food, great server, and nice atmosphere. I would definitely return.
