Excellent wines. Loved everything we tasted. The tasting room is beautiful.

The Grenache (a collaboration with the renowned Tablas Creek in Paso Robles) is exceptional—beautifully balanced with vibrant fruit. Also loved the Southern Blend and Big G, plus their Grenache Blanc and Sparkling Rosé are standouts.

If you're into these wines, their club is worth joining—they ship almost anywhere in the US!

The Grenache is outstanding. Very good Syrah/Viognier blend, as well as Mourvedre blend and straight Mourvedre. Beautiful setting to enjoy a flight. Tasted some Grenache grapes

4.5 overall. We three visited in July 2025. This was the 2nd visit for two us, and the first for our wine expert from Japan.

Excellent tasting room.

SERVICE: 5.0. Kerry took wonderful care of us. She was experienced and adjusted her presentations to our interests. She spoke in a way that ensured our guest from abroad could understand her. We did not feel rushed. We learned a lot about the wines and the vineyard.

AMBIANCE: 4.5. The tasting facility was designed to provide an excellent experience, and it succeeds. Though the exterior appears forbidding as one approaches, the interior is welcoming and well-done. The tasting room is set high with floor-to-ceiling windows on three sides, and includes tables set on an outside balcony. We sat inside looking out over the vineyards with a gorgeous view of the Blue Mountains.

WINES: 4.0. Rhone varietals.

What a gem!

I’ve wanted to visit Rotie for some time and I finally did after recently seeing their advertisement for celebrating Pride in the month of June. The beautiful rich colors of their vibrant PRIDE flag, flowing down the side of their cool gray exterior, was captivating. I also appreciate how the minimalist design of their tasting room frames beautiful views of the surrounding vineyards and the Blue Mountains.

I didn’t have time for a tasting so I bought 4 bottles of their Stonewall Rose, which was a huge hit at a dinner party back in Portland. At least one of the guests assumed it was an expensive French wine, and a couple others asked me to bring some back on my next trip to Walla Walla. While I’m not a big wine drinker myself, I really enjoyed this wine so I look forward to tasting others.

Another draw for me is that I grew up in this area but moved away after high school, before the wine industry really took off there. Rotie’s address on Trumbull Lane also caught my eye, since my family has been friends with the Trumbulls since the mid-1970s- wonderful people.

Thanks for making my first visit such a fantastic experience!

We absolutely loved our experience at Rotie Cellars.

We work in the wine industry in Paso Robles and were excited to squeeze in a visit to a Walla Walla winery during a quick pass-through. Before the trip, we asked several trusted wine-knowledgeable friends for recommendations, and Rotie was the one winery that made every single list — and now we understand why.

From the moment we arrived, we felt warmly welcomed. Liz, the tasting room manager, was fantastic — friendly, knowledgeable, and incredibly helpful. She knew every detail about each wine, vintage, and vineyard, as well as the broader Walla Walla region. On top of that, she gave us great local tips and was just genuinely fun to chat with.

In addition to amazing hospitality, every single wine we tasted was interesting, balanced, complex, and beautifully made. We loved the diversity and character in each pour and honestly wish we’d taken more bottles home.

The tasting room itself is stunning, with great views over the Rocks District and surrounding vineyards — elegant and relaxed with a great sense of place.

A quick side note for families: we had our kids with us (we know, wineries + kids = controversial). But Rotie was very accommodating. They offered juice, snacks, and even bubbles to keep the kids entertained — off to the side so as not to disrupt other guests. Our kids have grown up wine tasting and do surprisingly well, but even they said Rotie was their favorite winery :)

If you're looking for phenomenal wines and a memorable experience, Rotie should be at the top of your list. We’re so glad we went — and we’ll definitely be back. You won’t regret it.

Great Rhone style wines! Hard to choose between the Syrah and Syrah-dominant options. The Northern Blend (think Chateauneuf-du-Pape) and the Love Rocks are our favorites. The Mourvèdre Dre is also really good. People working there are very friendly and helpful. Club events are lots of fun as well. And you can't beat the view from the Oregon tasting room!

The property is lovely. The service was fine. The wine was not worth the $40 tasting fee and the $75 offset fee with a purchase in comparison to other local wineries. The woman who checked us out when we asked about these charges vs all the other wineries we’ve been to was defense which was sad. Disappointing experience.

What a gem. With so many wineries to choose from this is a special place. Don't miss it.

The Rocks tasting room is simply the best. All the wine is fantastic, gets better every year. The tasting room is stellar, as is the view. All the staff is so kind, friendly, and knowledgeable. We always look forward to coming back here.

We were recommended to come to Rotie Cellars by a couple other wineries in the area, so we definitely had to make a stop and we are so glad we did! Wow… loved all the wines. Very focused, felt the passion and that terroir is shining through. We had a great tasting experience with Phavo. She had fantastic knowledge of the wines and the vineyards and locations. Thanks again, we will definitely be back when back in the area. Cheers from some happy wine loving Canadians ?

What an amazing experience! Beautiful wines, charming staff, beautiful vineyard. Thank you Pavo for walking us through Rotie’s impressive portfolio. You have an obvious passion for the wines and all of the rocks in the vineyard! We own a small, boutique winery in the Okanagan, Canada. Our experience today was top notch. Thanks
