Spring Valley Vineyard Tasting Room

My partner and I visited this spot on May 14 because my friend recommended it. We made a reservation in advance, but it wasn't busy at all. When we went in, there were only 2 servers and they smiled at us awkwardly. I don't know why. Everything looked clean except I found a few hairs on the chair when I sat down. My partner really liked their wine. I can't drink, but I liked the atmosphere and enjoyed learning about the family history and the winery. We got one chocolate each for pairing. It was so good we purchased a box of chocolate(18 pieces) when we left. While we were there, a lady walked in just to buy the box of chocolates as well so you know it's that good.

Unique tasting room with 7 wines offered during the tasting. The sommeliers take time to tell the story of the family-owned vineyard during the tasting. Their bottles are on the pricier side ($60-75) but the tasting fee is waved with a bottle purchase. The $75 bottles were far superior to the $60 bottles.

Delicious wine and great story tellers. They name the wine after the family, and the wines pop more when you hear who the good are.

Get the potato chip pairing and the baked goat cheese with tomatoes! They both added to the wines.

Michael did an awesome job in the story telling of Spring Valley’s history. Wines are amazing served in a beautiful space.

Had a great time here. Mellow vibe, nice and clean tasting room. Food/snack offerings we enjoyed included the charcuterie board and it was great. Our server was very knowledgeable and a great story teller. Wine was very good. I particularly enjoyed the Derby as well as their Cab Franc. Would highly recommend if down town.

Made us feel like family! Jeff was extremely charming and knowledgeable. We had a great time talking to him about the history of this beautiful winery. And the wines are a must try!

Great wine and so dog friendly! They had a bowl of water out for my pup when we sat down. A few snacks and water were perfect to cleanse my pallet and I love that they had mostly red wines. The vintner was very nice and knowledgeable. My pup and I loved sitting out on the patio!

Gene was very knowledgeable and welcoming. The history behind the winery he presented was interesting too. We loved the red wines!
