Today, we drove an hour to go to Doxies Diner. My husband (74), has been going there since he was 11 years old. Oh my goodness. We wish that we could give them much higher that a 5 star rating.. The service was excellent.. And the food was amazing. We both had the snake bite. We would like to thank each and every one of the workers... And we will difinately be going back... No complaints from either one of us...
The other reviews especially the Snakebite Burger were spot on. Get the actually fried waffle fries with it! Ice cream was great too, the waffle cone was huge.
I just wish they’d had the TV turned off.
Parking: Had plenty of vehicle parking at the diner. There is a large gravel lot west of it that looks like RV’s or tow vehicle/travel trailer combinations could park on while at the restaurant.

The food was great. Huge portions, chicken fried steak was delicious. For the price (which we didnt find to be excessive), we were hoping portions would not be small. Not disappointed. Perfect for after a vacation. Soooo good.
