I had a ham and cheese...it was like someone pour sugar on it. I couldn't eat it. My friend had grilled cheese and there was way too much cheese and not enough bread. She took 3 bites and that was it.

Decided to try this smaller breakfast and lunch diner. This is now order at the counter diner. After ordering, find a table and wait for the food to be brought to you. Order takers and server were very nice. Diner is clean. Bathroom is not ADA fully compliant. Lunch was served in 10 minutes. My Philly cheesecake sandwich was tasty with roast beef piled high in the middle of the sandwich. I would have preferred the roast beef spread evenly on the roasted roll with the cheese and condiments also evenly spread on the sandwich. The salad was very fresh. The diner shares it's space with a thrift store.

Located in a historic former egg hatchery. some say they have the best Reuben sandwich around. I tend to agree. Thrift store has great prices.

I love Rowdy Rooster. We use the food bank, which is wonderful, with great food choices, I have also been a volunteer. The people are great with values I admire, Rylee, the manager, is so sweet. She TRULY CARES about Winlock, WA people, and their needs. John and all the board members are GOOD PEOPLE. The thrift store side is fun, and the food in the Bistro is wonderful.
