I went to the new tasting room at Brian, Carter and was very impressed with the whole experience. The tasting room was beautifully, and the wine and food pairings blew me away. Brian Carter does an amazing job creating delicious wines inspired by from around the world. He has been making wine since the 1970s, and draws many of his inspirations from Old World blends. The tasting room's newest chef, Nicholas Ames, has created the most delicious dishes that are beautifully plated. The Chanterelle-Oyster Mushroom Toast is delicious and pairs perfectly with the Roussanne. The Charred Broccolini might be my favorite item on the menu, with its toasted shallots and white balsamic emulsion - YUM. The 2020 Byzance was my favorite wine - it was smooth and complex, will only get better with age, and is perfect with the Red Wine Risotto, which is so flavorful and yummy - my husband loved it too. Also be sure to save room for dessert. The Opulente port is phenomenal, made even better by the chocolate mousse. I would highly recommend Brian Carter to any winos who love good food, foodies who love good wine, and anyone else looking for a great date night!

All their reds were delicious and the food was as well. Great service too! Joined their wine club after my first visit.

Came here for a wine tasting event. The staffs were super friendly and attentive. I bought two bottles of red wine and was happy with the purchase. Environment was clean and beautiful with all the holiday decors. Parking in the garage was free but spots were relatively narrow.

My daughter and I stopped by Brian Carter Cellars on Wednesday evening for a Yelp event and we enjoyed the wine so much we bought a bottle to share for Christmas dinner! We bough the Abracadabra Red (love the whimsical label with the rabbit) after trying the Abracadabra Rose and thoroughly enjoying it.We got to meet Brian Carter himself who is a knowledgeable and friendly fellow. The Woodinville location is absolutely beautiful both inside and out with plenty of seating and pretty holiday lights outside. I will return here someday (hopefully soon!).

I was invited here for a Yelp Elite event and I'm soglad that I was!! Listening to Brian Carter himself talk about his career in winemaking and sharing some of his knowledge offered me a greater appreciation towards wine. I highly recommend the white wine Oriana. Yumm!Chef Nick's dishes are delicious and pair well with several of the great wine list choices they have. Also the dishes are very affordable. Servers are knowledgeable so don't shy away from asking any questions you may have. Delightful place. Great wine, great food, fun place in WoodinCreek. I'll be back here with some friends in the new year!

First, this part of Woodinville is so festive with all the lights. I loved walking into Brian Carter Sellers to the beautiful music that they play. I love the playlist that ran during our whole visit. The wine, of course, is absolutely outstanding, and we left with more than $300 of wine to pack into our car. I posted pictures of my favorite bottles. Everything we tasted, was just phenomenal, award-winning, and absolutely outstanding. We met Cameron, who was beyond talented at his job. He was delightful, so knowledgeable about all the wines, and he made our experience outstanding. I was so happy to get to meet him and have him be our server, as he's one of the rare gems out there in the world, making life a little bit better and a little bit sweeter one person at a time. Brian should know that he has a remarkable young man working for him and doing an exceptional job.OK, now onto the food! I had the Hamachi... But I have eaten here before and every single time it does not disappoint. The Hamachi literally melted in my mouth and it was one of the best things I have ever had in my life. The chef here should be a Michelin star chef. Wow wow and wow. The flavors that he combines are so unique and so delicious. My mouth is watering, just writing this review. Come here just for the food even if you don't like wine. I am curious why this place is not packed with people? This is one of the best wineries, probably in the world, and the food is beyond sensational. I think they need to do some marketing or new kinds of advertising to let people know where they're at and what they're doing. They should have special events here. This place would be so cute to rent out for a celebration. I saw the other restaurants full of people, and I was just shocked that this place wasn't packed with people! If you're looking for a great wines with a fantastic experience. This is the place. :)

I have visited the new wine bar a few times now and am obsessed! The inside layout is classy and fun; the wines were delicious, I bought a bottle of Solesce; and the food-- oh my goodness. I believe the menu changes occasionally, but I ordered the braised short rib, pumpkin risotto, and Opulento cheesecake. Incredibly rich and filling and paired extremely well with the wines suggested by the staff.

Brian Carter wines have always stood out because his wines are all blends. Twenty years ago I thought blends were what you did when one of the wines wasn’t so good. Little did I know the genius behind the craft of blending wines but not all blends are created equally. Take Brian Carter wines. His blends score in the 90s and win awards because of the quality of the wines he uses in each blend. From the white wine Oriana, whose luscious mouth feel and slight fruit refresh your palate on a warm spring day. To my favorite Le Coursier which delivers a full yet not overbearing red Cherry notes that is a hat tip to the beautiful WA state Merlot that makes up 61% of this blend. Now we know old world wines are meant to be paired with food and BC cellars new tasting rooms don’t forget this. The Albacore crudo is perfect with the Oriana and the duck confit is amazing with Ake Coursier or Trentenaire. Of course any wine goes with the house charcuterie plate. Transport yourself to the old world without hopping a plane. A staycation in Woodinville awaits.

Every wine we had was great. They were laid back. The winemaker himself even came up and chatted with our table for a bit. Joined the club. Will be back.

So love this new tasting room experience! Amazing blended wines by one of Washington's best wine makers and now a space that allows for pairing with food to make your wine tasting experience even more enjoyable! A must stop when in downtown woodinville, and if your lucky you just might see Brian Carter himself!

We didn't have food here, just a wine tasting. (Didn't have the choice to leave rating blank). Wines were OK from the standard tasting, though we were only considering buying one of them to balance the cost of the tasting. The server was not very knowledgeable...or just couldn't articulate. It started with her giving us the wrong tasting sheet, then taking it away but not bringing us the right one. She didn't talk to us much about the wine and didn't come back to our table unless we waved her down. We asked about the difference between vintages of one of the red wines (because the one we were drinking was different than the one on the tasting sheet), and she said they taste the same. We asked questions about wines not on the tasting thinking we might like something else a little better (to buy). An example Q&A: What's the Corrida (Tempranillo) like? What would your tasting notes be? She answered, "It tastes like tempranillo. It's delicious." Not at all helpful. We had high hopes for this tasting among the few we did and were sorely disappointed. Maybe good wines, but we couldn't tell.

We were very disappointed in our experience at Brian Carter. It was our first visit there and we were really looking forward to it. We have visited many wineries in Woodinville, Walla Walla, many regions of CA, and Italy. We are members of 5 wine clubs, 2 in CA and 3 in WA. My husband and I both agreed, that this was one of our most disappointing experiences in wine tasting. We arrived at Brian Carter on a rainy afternoon at about 4:05 (4:00 reservation) and were asked if we wanted to sit inside or outside. We chose outside because no one was indoors. The table was ok. Our first server gave us the QR code sheets and said to check out the different tasting options (she said one was a variety and one was all reds. That was the only description). She came back and asked what we had chosen. We chose the basic $20 wine tasting with a white, a rose, and 3 reds. First, we were surprised that there was not a "welcome" taste prior to the sampling. Each winery we have visited in the last year (about 24 wineries) has given us a sample of something (sparkling, rose or something seasonal) as soon as we sat down. Not here. After we ordered she returned about 5 minutes later with the rack of samples. We tasted all the wines and of the 5 samples, there were only 3 that we liked. My husband didn't really like any of the wines he tasted (which is very rare for him), but thought the rose was the best of the bunch. Being that we ALWAYS buy something we bought one rose and one Le Coursier. Halfway through our tasting at 3:45, a different employee came out and said that we had 15 minutes to finish our tasting because we had to leave by 5:00. We have NEVER had anyone at ANY winery EVER act like that. She then returned with our bill and wine purchase and said she was sorry to have to ask us to leave (there were 2 other tables occupied and they were also told to "drink up"), but she hoped we would come back. We just smiled and said a sheepish thankyou and left. We will not be returning.
