TL;DR: small proportions, slightly overpriced, no indoor seating. Nothing stood out but it is a nice place to get that "small bite" of something sweet if you need.
The current "okay" health score (9/2024) is a bit concerning considering how small the establishment is.
Parking: there is a small parking garage nearby or street side parking if you don't mind walking.
Atmosphere: Open front gelato shop with no in door seating. Plenty of uncovered outdoor seating on counter level chairs.
Service: friendly service. Order and pay at the front, you may try samples of flavors if you wish.
Overall nothing wowed me too much. The proportions were small the and price was a bit high. I personally would prefer to go elsewhere for the atmosphere and larger proportions.

Delicious gelato!! They have Vegan options as well. My son, daughter and I had the Mint-choco, Lemon custard, and the Forest Berry flavors respectively. Scrumptious❣️??♥️? They also serve coffee and pastries ? ??☕️☕️???
Makana was very helpful and allowed us to sample some flavors so that we three could make our final decisions ??

Ephesus Gelato is a must-visit for gelato lovers in Woodinville! Their gelato was incredibly delicious. We especially enjoyed the pistachio, salted caramel and Nutty Squirrel. We were impressed by the pistachio nutty flavor. The staff was friendly, knowledgable and helpful, making the experience even more enjoyable. We will be returning for more! Highly recommend :)

I can’t say enough good things about this place. It’s super kid friendly and they’re amazing with recommendations for flavors. The ice cream itself is an incredible experience and it’s one of woodinville’s best spots to enjoy an afternoon. The coffee and tea options were fantastic and they have something for everyone.

Nice little shop tucked into the schoolhouse district. Tasty treats and great service. We like to walk here after dinner at many of the near by Woodinville restaurants.

If it weren't for the mouse layers the chocolate cake would be inedible. One of the driest chocolate cakes I've ever had.

Popped in on a hot summer Sunday and cooled off thanks to some creamy, refreshing gelato from Ephesus (used to be the Nutty Squirrel). This gelateria also serves coffee drinks which we didn't try due to the heat. The flavors were good and are served in a waffle cone or regular cup with a tasty wafer cookie on top. This is part of the district flats area; limited parking on street, underground or walk here after playing soccer at Woodinville Fields or walking at Wilmot Gateway Park. Some seating outdoors in the vicinity- this is really a take away place. It's yummy, cold, creamy goodness that goes down easily; so you don't need to sit down to eat it anyway, because it'll be gone before you know it! Friendly service.
To be honest, it wasn't my type of ice cream, very few flavors, there wasn't a quiet place to eat it and I won't say that they are bad, it's just that it's not to my taste, but go and try it maybe if you like it.

Ephesus Cafe and Gelato in Woodinville Towne Center, and overall, it was a great experience.
The cafe offers a cozy atmosphere, perfect for enjoying a sweet treat. While I wouldn't say it's the best gelato I've ever had, there were definitely a few flavors that stood out, particularly the strawberry shortcake, which I really enjoyed. The chocolate was also good, but I would recommend trying some of their unique flavors as well. The portion sizes were not so generous.

Gelato wasn't good, tasted freezer burned, I suspect they don't sell a ton of volume, (not sure if this is a good thing or bad thing, but I eat gelato or ice cream 3-4x week, lol, so I know good/bad ice cream).
Also doesn't take cash , card only, no mention or signs saying that, I didn't find out until I went to pay after I had the ice cream in my hand, I find that somewhat sloppy business practice, fortunately I had a card (but would've preferred not to use it). And expensive for the little scoop you get. Won't be returning

The place looks awesome! The gelato not much :(. I got two mini scoops for $8 and we found a huge ice cube in the gelato. I was looking for a creamy delicious gelato and i found a opposite experience.

We got there at around 3pm on Sunday 6-30-24 and they were closed despite google saying they were open. No one answered the phone either. If there was an emergency closure at least put a sign out on the door.
Nice little gelato spot in Woodinville. Great friendly service! One of the few places that you can get espresso in the evenings.
