I love the food and service at Purple Cafe in Woodinville, but it is so loud with no acoustical dampening that I have to shout across the table for my wife to hear me. I would really love it if they could add some dampening material to their restaurant as many other restaurants have done and then it could be busy but not an echo chamber.

We had been to Purple about a year ago. It was excellent. We sat outside and had delicious food and great service. This time, we were squeezed into a two person table at the window. Our server was fine, but it took a very long time to get our drinks. It appeared that there was only one bartender, and it was a super busy Saturday night. The food was just okay. For the price, I would expect superb, and compared to last time, it was definitely a let down. My partner's porkchop...

Everything was excellent. The service was wonderful and our food was delicious. The wine list was extensive and we found the perfect bottle for our date night. I highly recommend the Crème Brûlée for dessert.
