Tokyo Japanese Steakhouse

This was the worst hibachi place I have ever been too. Never seen potatoes in the veggies before, and the lack of seasoning used was surprising. Steak was so tasteless I couldnt eat it. Even the yum yum sauce was lack luster and slimy. Chef was mediocre at entertaining, but then again we were there at closing so he was probably just worn out. Also, despite my repeated no's about water, he still brought me one, which only annoyed me because I kept clearly saying no water and he didn't listen.

Soup is usually good but no mushrooms or onions this time so it was basically like water
Meat portions are getting smaller

Too much carrots and celery Not enough
Zucchini too many potatoes would like to see more Japanese style vegetables but I get it those are cheaper

The steak was cooked perfect and flavorful
The shrimp was amazing
The Ginger sauce and mustard sauce perfect

Staff was great place is clean

We were coming here to celebrate 3 birthdays and was looking forward to having a good time at this place. We got there 30 min after they opened to make sure they had room and it turned out we were the only ones there. The food was good but the service was terrible. The chef was with us for maybe 10 minutes and the bill was $400 with a tip included. I can suck that up because I know it’ll be expensive there but I had to remind them 4 separate times to acknowledge the birthday celebrations. They said oh yeah we can sing and give dessert. Not a single thing. Everyone disappears. I talked to the manager and he even left. We waited 15 minutes after we paid and never saw a soul again. Truly disappointed and this is not the memory I want to remember for my family celebrating their special day. I won’t be back!!

Food was ok. Tip was included at 20% however it is tacked on after sales tax bringing it to more than 20%. Beware that the 20% service charge is more like 22%

This place is the best for me and my family we love it here and the employees are the best to the smallest member to the elder i love it!!!
