This was our first time here. All my friends and acquaintances have highly recommended this place. Very friendly and attentive staff. Food came out right on time and looked amazing. Of course I had to try their Cuban to see how it compares to others. It did not disappoint whatsoever. Yuca fries were amazing and cooked perfectly. Was so filling had to take the other half home for my lunch tomorrow. My family and I will certainly be going back again. We found ourselves a new place to go here in Woodinville!

Charming Cuban Cafe!Excellent Tostones & Yuca Frita, fresh & delicious authentic cocktails, and even some rare menu items including Camarones a la Criolla, Papas Rellenas, & Arroz Congrí.The server was very pleasant and professional as well, executing the entire order in a timely manner, seemingly single-handedly, on a quiet weekday afternoon. If I lived closer, I would come back often, even if simply for the perfectly balanced Cuban Coffee inside such a cozy well-decorated interior.A hidden gem!

Great food. The ropa is the best I've had outside of Puerto Rico. Decent mojito, and some mamajuana is hiding around somewhere too if you know where to look. Highly recommended all around.

Yasleydi greeted us and crafted a tasty Cuban Mojito to set the stage for an authentic Cuban meal. Trying the Ropa Vieja, accompanied with black beans and tostones is a must! If you enjoy cigars, there is an ample selection of hand rolled stogies to choose from. A great experience!

Great place to go, and the good is great. The only thing I would suggest is to not shred the pork completely; it tastes amazing, but didn't look that great. Maybe leave some in bigger chunks. The food really is fantastic and is almost like going to your moms house for dinner. Would highly recommend to try.

Visited twice and both times ordered The Cubano Monster. Small Sandwhich with a slightly off Putting bacon and what smalled and tasted like moldy bread. Asked a Cuban if this was Cuban food, and they said not here. Find a true Mediterranean sandwich somewhere else like Paseo or Bongos in Seattle.

In the past this restaurant was very good and why my husband and I were looking forward to eating there again. Unfortunately the food this time was not even close to what it was before. It was lackluster and seemed like it had been sitting around a while. My shrimp tasted like it was thrown together and the cook didn't really care about putting out a good meal. Even our mojitos weren't that good. We won't be going back.

Don't look like Cuban food, don't taste like Cuban food, and it's not served by Cubans. Point apart, it doesn't taste good, I would not recommend that food even if it was free, but surprisingly, it is quite pricey. What amazes me more is the good reviews that this place has. However, I'm from Cuba, so it was quite disappointing for me.

Cute cafe with Caribbean food. Very large portions. Food is generally very rich and heavy, but that's expected for this type of food. Tostones were cooked just right. Place was pretty busy around dinner time, might want a reservation if you have a large party.

Four of us enjoyed a lovely lunch earlier today and I really enjoyed and appreciated the restaurant. It's a unique experience, with the Cuban cuisine and style that feels very authentic, though I've never been to Cuba.I ended up buying an autographed copy of a book by the owner, Julio. I'm really enjoying it and recommend it to others interested in the Cuban immigrant experience in the US.Vegetarian options: There are clearly vegetarian dishes, but I don't recall particularly good labeling. The menu is a mix of Spanish and English.Dietary restrictions: They clearly mix some specialty ingredients in some of the dishes. I'm sure they would be very helpful if you have restrictions.

Definitely recommended. We tried a great sampling of their dishes. From the black bean soup to the tostones to the masitas de puerco fritas. All of it was great. The owner and staff were friendly and welcoming. My only wish would be for the patio to be out back instead of out front by the road.Woodinville is lucky to have them here.
