Woodinville Whiskey Co.’s tasting room is a perfect blend of rustic charm and refined craftsmanship. The staff was knowledgeable and the bourbon and rye were some of the smoothest I’ve ever tasted—an absolute must-visit!
Fabulous tasting experience at one of Washington’s best distilleries. Bourbon and Rye lead the way, and there are often some special releases available here to try and buy. We loved the products but we also loved the friendly helpful and passionate staff.
We loved our experience at Woodinville whiskey today! We have been numerous times but the newer ability to select based on 2 tasting experiences. Marcus and Morgan were so fun to talk to, which made it a very unique and memorable experience. Highly recommend coming here to taste and get some bottles! Bonus points for being dog friendly as our small dog loves to come out and socialize!
My husband and I had a tour and tasting by Carissa and she was wonderful! So knowledgeable about the distilling process and very engaging. Highly recommend the tour and tasting, learning about the products while tasting is the best. Thank you Carissa!
Very friendly service with good tasting options. High recommended!
Great find while here working a contract! The personal tour and tastings were outstanding! I signed up to do the tour/bottle a single barrel of my choosing, and choose the Rye which is surprising as I lean toward bourbons. I'll be stopping by on a return trip later this year. Kudos to a great staff!
My wife and I, whom both really enjoy bourbon, received the “age your own Woodinville whiskey” kit from our kids for Christmas, and had the exact same experience as the other reviewer here - at least insofar as losing all the contents. I too followed the instructions to a T, and tried soaking the barrel repeatedly with hot water. After I thought it had finally sealed, we poured in the raw whiskey. After three weeks my wife picked up the barrel and asked me “did you actually put anything in here?” We decided to just empty it and see how much was left. The picture shows all that remained from the entire two bottles.
We don’t have the heart to tell our kids their money was wasted, and since Woodinville doesn’t provide a phone number or even an email address on their website, that tells me they don’t want to hear about it.
Update: I sent an email to the email address provided below on Jan 30, and haven’t received a response as of Feb 5.
Heather was phenomenal, was quick, responsive, great attitude, and incredibly knowledgeable on the process of creating a very tasty whiskey. Had a good time with my friends and would definitely recommend.
Stopped by to try some of the whiskies and very glad we did. Many different flavours to try. At the end of our tasting, they finished us off with a surprise tasting of their maple syrup aged in whisky barrels, we ended up buying a bottle it was so good.
Had unbelievable whiskey here I can’t believe it is so smooth!! Breen the server was excellent and was an avid professional. Thank you whiskey Woodinville for recognizing Veterans. We appreciate it and I will drink your whiskey!!!

I purchased this At-Home aging kit from Costco. I followed the directions to the T and I still couldn't get the barrel to seal and would leak. I could get water to stop leaking, but when I would fill with White Dog it leaked. I tried everything to include, emptying again, submerging in water for hours, and placing natural bees wax around the rim. I thought I got the leak to stop when I placed my barrel in my utility closet. After one month, I went to check the taste and noticed I had lost more than half of the yield and the barrel was light. I ended up just emptying the entire barrel and found out I had lost near 70% of the whisky. As you can see in the pictures, out of the 2 - 750ml bottles of barrel strength, I was only able to fill a quarter of ONE of the jars. This is entirely unacceptable for a $125 aging kit. I reached out to Woodinville and they said I could either stop by (not driving across the state) or they could send me a new kit. They have yet to send me anything. Don't waste your money.
Update: Experience Manager Matt personally called me to apologize and is making things right. I believe customer service truly makes the product what it is. If you stand by your product, in this case whisky, then your customer service should mirror how good it is, and this is what they did. I will now make sure there's a Woodinville bottle in my cabinet at all times. Kodus and Cheers!
Very interesting. Enjoyed the 100% rye. Cozy tasting room.
I met a representative of Woodinville Bourbon in a local convenience store and he like so many reps knew more than I expected. And he was so knowledgeable about whiskeys, scotches and and more I was so impressed that I had come in for Tequila and left with Woodinville Bourbon! I live in Sandusky Michigan, it's a small town but your representative was outstanding!!
great place ?unfortunately there are few parking spaces ?
A birthday gift that I never tried before. It was a very pleasant surprise. I like my Bourbon neat. This was smooth and easy, with a unique flavor. Very enjoyable.
