The food was Horrible. Never had that horrible of food at a Mexican restaurant in my life. It seems that the chef tried to cover it over with a ridiculous amount of hot spices!! The chips were ok. Did not have too much salt on them, but we were ok with that. Cute robot serves the food with waitress attending the table. We boxed up our food to go & dropped it in a garbage can nearby!!! Hubby said even the Margherita was disgusting!!

We came to La Casa Tapatia for my husband's birthday and it was fantastic. Everything was great! Especially the atmosphere, the food and the cool robot that brings the food to the table ? Order the queso because not only is it delicious but the bread they serve with it is AMAZING! Also the sweet surprise at the end of the meal. We will be back!

We have been here several times. Last time for me though. I ordered a simple cheese n onion enchilada. It was cold in the middle and the cheese was crumbly as if pre frozen cheese. The service was wonderful. They happily took my money.

All the food was great. Their guacamole was legit. We had read one bad review saying the food was too sweet and Americanized, but we found it to taste plenty authentic including being able to order in Spanish.I do hope they switch to something other than Styrofoam for to-go containers. Maybe they'll read this review and make that change. I highly recommend!

I've been a continued customer here since 2012, as of the last 2-3 years the food has changed drastically and not for the better. the food my family and I ordered, all of it was sweet which as I do know "some authentic Mexican" food can be sweet but it's usually subtle. Most if not all the culture, spices, love, and patience that comes in a close to authentic dish seemed removed in all the food we ordered, too americanized and too sweet.
