This Mexican dude has approved this place! We were sceptical at first but then, I can tell the food is great, you can use the drive thru or park and go inside the gas station store.
I cannot say enough about El Rey Burro. If I could give this location ten stars, I would. I’ve been going here for years both at their old and new location. The staff are so friendly and cool with love. My favorite menu item is the steak burrito with green salsa. It may be weird that the location is in a gas station, but from a local who has lived in Yelm my whole life, this is where all the locals eat. Pop in and give them a try.

Tucked into the back-left corner of the gas station but also accessible via their drive thru, this is the best Mexican food I’ve had in a while! 5 stars across the board for pricing, portions, hospitality, freshness, variety, you name it! If you like Mexican food, look no further!
