It took us over two years to try Gather after moving to Yelm, and OH, did we miss out! The service and food was exceptional and left us wishing we had been enjoying it for far longer - we will absolutely be back and hope to continue trying more great food here.

This is my first time going to gastro under the new owners.I had the blackberry vodka fizz and lemon ricotta pancakes. My friend had the make your own scramble.Food was very good and prices were on point and the service was very friendly.They were very accommodating with my friends dietary needs. Can't wait to go back and try some other things on the menu.

Veteran Owned and absolutely love the changes they are making, use to be my least favorite breakfast spot in town. Now it is probably my favorite breakfast spot.If you have not tried it in awhile, definitely worth hoping by and trying a meal.

The reviews DO NOT do this place justice. The food is simply amazing! The service was also top notch. The server knew her menu and described it in such detail that I really wanted to purchase the special, so I did. I had the rigatoni pasta with vodka sauce topped with tri-tip stead with a chimichurri sauce. It was in a bowl so I asked for a flat plate to cut the steak. Little did I know it was as tender as baby food. I have NEVER in my life had a tri-tip that tender, you could have eaten it with a plastic spoon if needed. And the flavors were amazing. It was all perfectly cooked. The vodka sauce was simply divine, I am a fairly good home cook myself and I've made a few red sauces in my day, but this one was out of this world fantastic. I used the garlic bread to wipe up every last drop of that sauce. It deserved to be complete consumed. Hats off to the chef and wait staff, they all did an amazing job and I WILL be coming back to try more in the future. This place is dangerous because it is also VERY close to my house.My only suggestion would be for evening service if there is any way to dim your lights a little I think it would make for a better dining experience and set the mood for those on dates (I saw a few while I was there). But I understand that infrastructure may not be completely at your disposal. Just a tip from a novice restaurant frequenter and self-proclaimed foodie lay person. But keep up the awesome food and service!

I mean it's really nice and clean but it doesn't match the overall vibe and menu... if that makes sense. Idk, maybe it's the lighting that throws me off. Trust me, I'm not complaining, I love eating here and have never had a bad experience. We have lived in Yelm for years and had no idea this place existed until recently. A bit pricey, but not at all overpriced. Well worth spending a little more for good food and service!!! I suggest their Chicken Confit!
