First time visit. Went on a Sunday around noon. Line to get seated because very busy. First of all, it's super noisy. Could hardly hear my friend talking at times. I ordered a breakfast which came after quite a wait. I ordered my eggs medium but they came very under done and had to take them back. They came back microwaved! The toast wasn't toasted and had some strange margarine spread on them. Disgusting. Hash browns under done. The only thing I could eat were the sausages. They were quite tasty. The rest of the meal was given to the crows.

I have a small service dog who rides on the seat of my walker because I have her for PTSD and as such, she must be in my line of sight at all times so that I don't have a panic attack. We had just seated ourselves when the waitress came by and INSISTED very rudely that the dog had to be on the floor, under the table. I tried to explain to her why the dog needed to be in my line of sight at all times but she just blew me off so we got up and left. I will never walk in that place again. They violated my ADA rights and I feel they should apologize and fire that waitress.

This is my favorite all time restaurant in Yelm Washington. The food is great. I've been to Yelm 2 or 3 times and I go to Mr. Doug's at least 4 or 5 meals when I'm up there. I highly recommend Mr. Doug's!!!!

Got the deluxe cheese burger and fries was absolutely delicious! It wasn't greasy or to heavy on your stomach it was great! The wait wasn't to bad either even with a lot of people we got our food pretty quick. The people are fantastic and the service was great.

We came in, I have eaten here for years. Ordered the chicken fried steak. 18.99. The salad was full of rusted lettuce and was probably made on a previous day. The cubed steak was less than a quarter inch thick. The breading brought it up to a half inch. The carrots were a french fry sized sliced carrot cooked with a sweet brown sugar sauce with cinnamon and nutmeg. Not bad flavor but way over cooked. Everything seemed to have been precooked hours if not a day ago. 20 dollars for old food that is less than mediocre. The dining area is freezing and some of the wait staff wear heavy sweatshirts in the middle of July? The kitchen is too hot and they're catering to the kids and not the customers. Other people also commented on the cold temperature in the dining area. I like the staff but the menu needs a makeover. I am sorry to say Mr Dougs is more about the location, parking and people than it is about the food. The only competition in town as far as diner's go is Ma and Pa's. Their location is not great and their parking is limited. We used to like Mr Dougs for breakfast but their eggs are always too under done for over medium well. The pancakes are cooked with too much grease and you can taste it. The french toast is frozen from a box. I like supporting local but the food quality just isn't there anymore. This place needs a restaurant impossible, Robert Irwin make over or a new owner.
Have been there plenty of times, this time we went in and ordered to-go. The price was around $31.25...no big deal about the price but when I give you $32 I expect my 75cents back so I can give a tip in dollars. Never got my change. Also, if its to go why do we get free ranch but if we sit in we get charged for it??
