I stopped off here to pick up a pizza today on my way home from work. I arrived at 5:00. There was a note on the door saying that they were not taking any orders. I was shocked. I opened the door to double check and was told that they were not taking any more orders for the night. At 5:00 pm!!! Are you serious? I'm shocked. Pizza is usually a dinner item and they are not going to take orders at 5:00. Wow. Apparently this location is not managed well.

Kids here a pretty dense. Pizza is ok asusually. If you order online and are given a time to swing by it will probably be 15-30 min more. If possible we will order from hawks or Tumwater location.

This review is for the Papa Murphys on Yelm Highway, Lacey, WA. I don’t understand why the past couple of months the pizzas we have ordered have the crust either not rolled out to cover the pizza tray or rolled so thin it’s like a thin crust pizza or has holes in it. This evening I called the Papa Murphy’s on Yelm Highway asking to speak to the manager. I explained to her right off I wasn’t asking to return the pizza but because this situation has been going on for a couple of months I wanted her to be aware of the problem we were having with her store. I explained we are weekly customers. I shared our problem with how the pizzas are being made. I remarked maybe she had new staff who just needed a little more training. She asked me: 1) is this an on line or called in order- I told her called in. 2) wanted the my name- told her. She relied she was looking up the order- she couldn’t find it. 3) asked me for the phone number - I told her - she still couldn’t find our order. At this point I asked her if she was a new manager - she replied no. Then she stated you know we’re have different crusts. Really?? What part did she not understand we are routine customers and have been ever since this stor opened. I finally stoped her and said you know I have children who work at and one still works at a Papa Murphys. My daughter is standing here and she knows how these pizzas are supposed to be made. Obviously, an attempt to pass the blame on me for not understanding the type of pizza crusts. All our orders are for the regular crust. Nothing special here… not asking for thin or gluten free - just a normal crust that fits the large pizza. Request the owner of this store to please have a secret shopper and go into this store. We like the product but may need to drive further to get our pizza made correctly. Thank you for the opportunity to comment.

Tried to buy $79 worth of pizza for the kids and this place don't take $100s. The owner/management is trash. Seriously we're not out here printing money just trying to feed the kids.
I have ordered from this location before and have been happy each time. Today, the pizza fell well below what I know this location to be. Not sure what happened, but the dough did not rise and had no taste. It was hard and cardboard-Ike when I cooked it. I did not overtake. Seemed like maybe the levening was left out. Also, there was barely any sauce, the thinnest layer ever. I’m not a fan of too much sauce but this was just way too little.
