I love this BBQ place, We will definitely be back and the owner is very good at making things right and knows how to keep customers happy. Being a small business owner myself it's not an easy thing to do and I have the upmost respect to business owners who want to grow a good business and work with their team to correct errors that may arise in a kitchen. Also they have the best BBQ sauce around, my husband doesn't even like BBQ sauce but always asks for extra from here. I wish Steele's family and his crew the best of luck in the future. I know I'll always continue to be a customer. If you haven't stopped here your missing out it's not your plain old Liquid smoked BBQ it's Real BBQ.

Loaded brisket baked potato and plain quesadia with the Mexican street corn salad and plain mac n cheese. Honestly I'm very picky and don't like BBQ joints. This one is on top! Very good. Very fast! Also anyone who has hazy IPA on tap is top dog!

I tried the brisket sandwich and was happy I did. Meat was smokey and cooked well and came with a moist bun. Try the spicy BBQ sauce, it rounded the meal out. Great wait staff and ownership. I’ll definitely be back!!

This was my first time eating at Steele Barrel. The brisket breakfast burrito is sooo good (and huge)! My friend got mac and cheese which looked amazing (she confirms)! Friendly staff as well! Will be returning!… And when I returned I got brisket fries! Also very good! And I returned again and got Steelio Mini's- also great!

I have been 4 times. It was excellent food and service every time. The first 3 it was still done out of the trailer but this last time actually got to experience in resteraunt. Service was great!

Food is legit. I wouldn’t be surprised if this place gets featured on a tv show or YouTube channel. Customer service was great. Flavor is just right, has the right balance of smoke, salt, and sweetness. Mini tacos were juicy as hell, super flavorful. I also got the rice/corn bowl with brisket, dang good as well. Will be coming back to try all items on the menu. Yelm is lucky to have this place.

From the south and this is damn good BBQ. They have a beautiful inside seating area and an outside. They cater and have their food truck, they do amazing things for amazing people! Owners are some of the best humans you will ever meet. Staff is impeccable.

Best BBQ in town, hands down! The pork belly minis are to die for, the brisket is tender and delicious, the pulled pork is heavenly…. I haven’t have a single item from their menu I that I didn’t love. Do yourself a favor and get you some!

We recently visited Steel barrel BBQ and were blown away by the food! We tried a variety of menu items, but our absolute favorite was the Tornado Combo. The sandwich was packed with flavor and perfectly balanced—every bite was delicious.
One thing we loved about this place is how well they incorporate BBQ with comfort food. The loaded baked potato with pulled pork and brisket, the loaded fries with pulled pork, and the Mexican corn bowl were just as amazing. Everything was cooked to perfection, with rich, smoky flavors and hearty portions that hit the spot.
We ordered outside at the food truck, but they also have indoor seating behind the truck, which is a nice option. If you’re looking for great BBQ with a cozy, comforting twist, we highly recommend checking this place out. We’ll definitely be back!
