My daughter and I love riding our bike on Sunday's to get some donuts! I love that they have partnered up with Shiplap because I can get a delish coffee + donut now! The dough is always so warm and doughy. So delish! My daughter and I are huge sprinkle donut fans and theirs are the best!

This place was good! When I walked in I was a little confused with all the clutter laying around the store. But then I found out they were moving the next day. (Currently they are set up in Shiplap Coffee until a new building becomes available). I was pleased to find out they make their own popcorn (tons of flavor) and carry candy. When I got there a lot of the donuts were already gone. I did manage to snag a half dozen, some sprinkles, a blackberry fritter, and normal glazed. They blackberry fritter was fire. Legitimately so good and honestly it was probably the best one I got. I would have rated it higher except the clutter and disarray of the shop really threw my off, and I tend to be a donut Connoisseur.

The donuts are good, and the staff is friendly! However, the artificial flavors smell from the popcorn is very overwhelming. We couldn't stay and enjoy our donuts for long because of it.

Today I was very disappointed by Twister Donuts in Yelm. We usually try to shop local small owned family businesses whenever possible. Last Saturday, I went and made a custom order for my daughter's birthday party that was the following Saturday. The lady was not super helpful when I asked about a birthday cake tower. She took the order and I pre-paid because it was a custom order. She told me I needed to call her the following Friday to remind her. Yesterday, when I called her the phone number, a recording indicated that the number was not receiving calls. I then texted her that we would be there in the morning at 7:30am to pick up our order. This morning when my husband showed up, she did not have our order and said she forgot to prepare the order. She gave my husband the option to get our money back or pick from the donuts they had there. Since my daughter was promised donuts at her birthday party, we decided to go ahead and get them there because we were short on time. When we told her that we tried to call her she rudely showed my husband the phone and told him it was working. Usually one small businesses make mistakes they tried to make it right. I feel like she did nothing to make it right with us. If you were making a custom order and with them please beware!
