Dee designed an amazing cake for my husbands military retirement. I gave her a few key items we wanted on the cake (to include the beret made out of fondant) and she executed it beautifully! The dress uniform is an exact replica of my husbands that I sent her a picture of. It was the talk of the party, and don’t even get me started on how delicious it was! Highly recommend!!

I got married one 10/12/24 and after lots of searching, I found Whimsy Cakes by Dee. Although she was pretty booked for October, she said yes to making our ceremony cake. The cake turned out absolutely beautiful! It was everything we wanted and more. Not only was it the cake of my dreams, but it tasted absolutely amazing! Dee has made two cakes for our family, the most beautiful ocean themed cake for my baby shower and one for my three little ones birthday party! The ocean cake captured every thing I asked for and she included little Shells and little foot prints in the sand....this was the most thought part! (I'll explain in a sec) the second cake was for a birthday party for 3 of my children. I asked for rainbow unicorns and trucks for a 4,3 and 1 year old. NAILED IT! it was so cute the kids didn't even want to cut it! My boys loved the different types of trucks and my daughter was so pleased with her rainbow unicorn she wanted it forever! How she was able to capture all yhree of their personalities in one cake is beyond me and so impressive! Before Dee ever made a cake for us, I had posted asking if anyone could make little foot prints to add to an already made cake for my grandmother's memorial. Dee messaged me and and made the BEST footprints and added some seashells for me as well. The perfect touch for a cake to represent my grandmother and I'm favorite poem. When she deceived them to the memorial, she could tell I was a mess (even never meeting me) she offered to place them on the cake and got everything JUST RIGHT. The sweetest sentiment from a stranger on a day I needed it most. You will not find another baker with so much talent, compassion, and customer service. If you want a delicious cake, made better than you can imagine definitely choose Dee!
