I Ain't Really Sure How To Express How Much The White Horse Means To Me, I Love The Place 💚
This is the local pub. Good people
$10 minimum on cards is kinda greedy bs.
Update:
Fees on cc processing are either a percentage, or a percentage + flat charge. Even if they are doubled, 3.5% -> 7% doesn't justify a 50-100% surcharge on an individual drink - which already has a high margin of profit. The bartenders suffer most as it's hard to justify generous tipping when you're paying $10 for a $5 drink (that the bar probably purchased for $2.5).
If you have some specific examples to explain why a customer should be charged $10 for a $5 drink, that would be helpful. If you're paying extortionate fees to your cc processor, I suggest you find a new one. 2.5% + $0.50 seems to be pretty average from the processors I have worked with.
We went into this establishment a year ago. Barely any customers, stood waiting to be seated. When we walked in, waitress looked at us then walked out back. Waited for like 5 minutes, she never came back. Person at bar didn't even acknowledge us, went across street and ate. The customers in there had nothing positive to say about this place either

Superb chill vibes
Parking: Just watch out for the sign as no parking or wait tilt the business hour over.

Just moved to the area, went to this bar for the first time. I sat down to to order my very first drink and was told I wasn’t being served because I RESEMBLED someone a DIFFERENT bartender had served at a DIFFERENT LOCATION at a DIFFERENT TIME. I was completely dumbfounded because I was not intoxicated and had never seen those people before. I was directed to a drunk bar manager drinking at the bar that told me I was cut off bc I had a look-a-like that she had cut off earlier.
They mistook me for someone else and refused to serve a new, local possibly regular great customer. They even called the bar across the street and realized their mistake.
They need a better screening system than a drunk manager at the bar, fighting with and kicking new customers out for no reason.
How embarrassing for them.
Happened at about 10:45pm on 7/27.

Great place to hangout, one pool table (free on list) open back for music and the band plays from the roof.

When my gal pal said, "Let's do steak night" at a small town pub, I was very skeptical and had low expectations (I'm a steak snob), but was I ever wrong! The chef came out and personally asked how we wanted it cooked, and he did a perfect job on all our steaks from my rare (better be red in the middle) to the medium with just a hint of pink. The service was perfect and attentive; the bar tender was engaging and convinced me to try a new drink that I loved. The local clientele were friendly, and the place had a great vibe of music but not too loud, so we could all talk and laugh together. Fabulous night, and I'm looking forward to their next steak night!
