So sad this restaurant is closed for good.
A lovely little place, but it is going out of business soon, so visit now if you are going to!
We were in the area for a family get away before school started. We were looking for a dinner place online and read good reviews for this place. I had called in advance to make sure we could sit outdoors due to Covid. When we arrived our table was set up in the garden. It was such a beautiful setting on a perfect evening. We had a mediterranean plate for an appetizer with fresh garden grown vegetables, hummus, and pita. For dinner we had a flatbread, pulled pork, and a salad with salmon. They had local New Glarus beer and homemade desserts. The service was excellent and the food was delicious too. I assume our server was Mary, based on the other reviews. Regardless, she was such a kind person. I'd encourage anyone in the area to seek this place out. It was a top notch experience. I hope to go back.
We loved eating here! Clean and friendly place!
We had an awesome time in this restaurant. We enjoyed the wonderful vibes and the meals. The staff members are very amiable. I’m glad we finally managed to visit this spot.
A charming little restaurant to enjoy with friends. Great food!
I celebrated my PhD this evening in this fine place. Well it was a magnificent evening and the restaurant was definitely the reason for this happy evening. The waiters cooperated in a sweet way, the food was great and my guests were very thrilled. We shall surely return for more events. thanks very much.
Had a very good experience in this spot with my wife. The food arrives quick and the service is just good. Prices are affordable.
Lots to see and great food! Fun place!
This place is absolutely amazing in every sense. Such a unique find, Mary is exceptionally nice and accomodating, the food was something you would find in some very fancy restaurant except HOMEMADE. You could never duplicate Franklin Grove Etc and that is what makes it so special. We drove 1 1/2 hours each way and will make the trip again.

What a wonderful meal we had here! Everything is home made and fresh! Great story with this building and you can buy some of the antiques there! This is truly a need to go to place and she does tea parties!
Drove 121 miles to meet a friend here who had eaten there before. We got there at 1:15 p.m. on a Wednesday, thinking it would be less busy. It wasn’t busy, but we weren’t served. Not only were we told immediately upon our arrival that she could not serve us because “she had to serve seven people,” but she did not seem to understand how rare it is for a restaurant to purport that only serving a few people at a time is at all reasonable or acceptable. She asked us to come back, and we explained to her that we both drove a long way to eat there, and we took off work to plan this and could not afford to come back later because of our jobs. We will not be returning, and are amazed that this is considered an appropriate business model. If you really can only serve a handful of people at a time, please make that clear on your social media and/or require reservations. Incredibly disappointed in the lack of service and interest in having customers.
Wonderful food and relaxing atmosphere. I had salad with Salmon. Cooked perfectly. My sister had soup and sandwich which was delicious. We ate light and split a piece of homemade pecan pie. Omg with a hint of Rum. Loved this place but it is in the country. I had a real map as cell service is inconsistent in the area.
We shopped and had dinner here today. Both were a delightful experience indeed!! The shopping, food, atmosphere and drink's were absolutely THE best!! On top of being wowed by our experience the hostess was very accomdating, warm and very knowledgable of the antiques and merchandise she has for sale. We drove from Madison and will do so again in the near future. This is a rare gem of a place!! A MUST for lovers of antiques, great food and a cozy atmosphere.
Love the meals! Pear salad was best salad hubbie said he's had in a long time. Talked about it for 4 days! I had quiche that came with generous, freshly sliced fruit & sweet bread. Served on vintage (Moderntone I think) place settings! Lovely owner was delightful to visit with. We highly recommend!
