A pleasantly eccentric and elegant local coffee and cafe that is a must-go-to if you are in the Algoma area. Pleasant, hospitable, and knowledgable staff. Not the largest establishment in town, but it does boast fairly adequate seating in a couple of different settings. If you happen to come when busy, it is worth the wait for a seat. In the warmer weather, outside seating becomes a welcome addition. The front area gives a very nice and warm view of the area street via plenty of windows. The coffee and food are excellent. After the wine venues, Tlazo is becoming our reason to take a nice jaunt towards the lakeshore!
Love this place. Great food and coffee. Service is outstanding.

This is one of our favorite places to come! Staff is so friendly, the food delicious - haven’t had anything I didn’t like, love the variety and we enjoy being able to relax and play cards. I would HIGHLY recommend someone to try out Caffé as our family affectionately named it. It is well worth your time to Algoma.Kid-friendliness: Great options for kids!

Stop here every time we pass through. Good food and coffee in a casual cozy environment with expected slower service at the busy lunch period. Recommend highly!

I had been looking for a dairy free cake for my daughters first birthday and when I called Tlazo the day before, staff was immediately willing and very helpful. I picked up the adorable dairy free cake the next day with a personal note attached. Judy is just a hoot and so nice. Came the next day to return the cake carrier and got breakfast, it is so delicious. The spicy egg sandwich on ciabatta is huge and so good. Will be coming back!Dietary restrictions: Special order dairy free but I also saw lots of gluten free options.

the italian eggs benedict was very yummy. the fruit in the side of fruit was just ok, but the whipped cream on top of it was delicious. the cold brew was full of flavor. we liked the charming little gifts for sale that adorn the wall as you stand in line; we purchased a couple of mugs and choco covered espresso beans. food was slow but they are a bit understaffed and working hard. they make sure to have your coffee out right away, though :)
Jovial atmosphere behind the counter with a phenomenal peach crumble (or cobbler, not entirely sure what form of deliciousness the dessert took on). They even provided little blankets with the outdoor seats. I will be back!

I LOVE this coffee shop. The food menu is more extensive than you would expect and it's all so good. The staff is so nice; I'm new to the area and they gave me some helpful insights. The space is pretty and spacious. I love to do a little work here or read while I enjoy my coffee. I also love seeing the other patrons - it's clearly a neighborhood favorite.

Incredibly good food. Ordered a panini and it met my high expectations. Didn't try any drinks since the cold brew it was $6, so I can't speak to the coffee.

Absolutely the best cappuccinos! Really enjoyed the breakfast sandwich too. Definitely recommend this restaurant - conveniently located on main street in Algoma. Great gem of a city on Lake Michigan.
