We’ve been there before and enjoyed it and it’s very nice for locals BUT this time when we went, we walked in and sat at the bar and waited for a bartender. 2 young males walked in, sat at the bar and the female bartender walked right up to them and took their drink order. Needless to say we walked out!
Food was good, service was great, and atmosphere was fun. If we are in the area again we would definitely stop.
We stopped on our way through to Sturgeon Bay. What a little gem! I'm so glad we stopped. Emersyn was fantastic! The nachos were amazing and the portion was hearty. The meat and cheese are all sourced from down the road at Ebert Enterprises. What a fantastic way to utilize locally grown food. The prices are also fantastic and a true testimonial to sourcing local. I wish we had one of these places back in Minnesota. We would visit many times more if we were local!
I really enjoyed the food and service!
What an amazing find! Service was great and food was really good. Very busy but service was quick. Definitely will be back to try more of the menu.
We tried Homestead for the first time and found it to be excellent. The staff is wonderful and happy which tells me it's a nice work environment. The restaurant is a pretty design with a nice outdoor area. My husband had walleye and I enjoyed the snapper special.
The best chicken bacon ranch pizza on the planet!
Food is good and extremely well priced. Farm to table beef. Simple American fare, but a few surprises here and there. Decor is tasteful contemporary take on country kitsch with and wink wink knod knod. Really clean. Very enjoyable place. Only thing my party didn't like is how high the lighting is.

My husband and I have been here 4 times. The first time was ok. The food was good. Service was decent. The other 3 times have gotten increasingly worse! This evening we sat for over 10 mins before we finally got up and left. At 5p they weren’t even that busy and we couldn’t even get a “hello” from a single server! Meanwhile, there were two servers just standing at the bar doing nothing! I’ve never just gotten up and left a restaurant before, but I am glad we did! We got excellent food and service from a different restaurant in Algoma.

We only ordered a Cesar and chef salad for pickup, but they were huge and surprisingly good. Both were big enough to get multiple meals out of. We're just passing through, but if we were locals, we'd be eating here regularly.

I've only had the Sunday brunch but it was fantastic! The kitchen and chef are always refilling the brunch with hot and fresh food. The atmosphere is family friendly and the outdoor seating and entertainment is perfect for my kids when they become squirrely and need to getsome energy out. We love this place!

We stopped in for a quick drink before another event in the area. The inside decor fit perfectly for the rural area. The service was great. The food others had looked great.

Food was great! We called ahead because there were 6 of us, and they had a table ready when we walked in.
Kid-friendliness: We had 2 children and a 15 month old, and they had a great kids menu to choose from. They also have an outdoor area with a lot of activities to keep kids busy.
