Was there with a group. New waitress did a decent job and was friendly. Tried the New York strip steak sandwich. The first time ever eating here that 2 of us got our food when everyone else was almost done eating. No onions were on it, even though ordered them. Waitress offered to get some fried up, but it would have been a longer wait, so declined. The steak was done perfectly, but had no seasoning on it. The price was decent, as it was the special. This was probably a fluke with the food. This is a great place to eat and the food is good. Wish they would split tickets as they lump it all together and you are left to figure it out, which isn’t always easy with a larger group. Will return as it’s a decent place.

The burgers we done to perfection and their homemade chips were just as wonderful! The Little Soldier beer was on tap, so our lunch was fantastic! Best of all was our terrific waitress Tanya! Great food, nice and clean atmosphere, plus one of the best waitresses around makes Millie’s a GREAT place to relax and grab a burger!

Excellent food!!! I absolutely enjoyed the Hammer Wrap!! The loaded baked potato soup was amazing!!! The staff is great, prices are reasonable, the owner is usually there working right along with the staff!! Very clean restrooms, very clean bar!! Can't wait to go back!!Vegetarian options: Their salads are amazing!!! Huge portions!Dietary restrictions: They are always accommodating to dietary requests!
While on a trip through Algoma, we decided to stop for a quick lunch. We lived in Algoma years ago and knew this place when it was Ape's. There were only a few people seated at the bar, and we chose a table. Our server was by right away, and my husband and I decided to split a fish sandwich with tater tots. A short time later, our food arrived already cut and portioned for two! The fish was hot, fresh, and crispy. The tater tots were good and crispy. It hit the spot for a quick small bite for lunch.

While in town, we decided to grab a quick lunch. Millie's, which used to be Ape's, is new to me. There were only a few people sitting at the bar, so we had our choice of table seating. The bartender took our order right away. I split a fish sandwich with my wife and shared the tater tots with her as well. The sandwich and tots came out portioned for two. That was nice of them. The fish was hot, juicy, and flaky. The batter was like a tempura batter with a nice flavor. The sandwich came with a piece of lettuce on a hogie bun.The tater tots were deep fried to a very crispy bite. The meal was ok for bar food and fairly inexpensive.

Went here with my parents, siblings and wild 4 year old. Literally EVERYONE was amazingly welcome, kind and happy. Food was wonderful and quick! Highly recommend stopping here and checking it out for yourself!Kid-friendliness: They were beyond welcoming of my daughter who needs a bit extra grace at times, and made my family feel like we belonged. Above and beyond!

The service was better than expected. We all enjoyed the food . Three of us had the fried fish sandwich with fries. It was cooked to perfection. We will go back when we go to Algoma again.
