Choosing Danzinger Vineyards for our wedding was the BEST decision we could have ever made! We got married there last July and couldn’t have imagined our day anywhere else. We were planning from out of state with no local family nearby (from Des Moines, IA and SE WI) and everything came together perfectly, even the smallest details! Paul and Madison were absolutely wonderful to work with and great communicators. There had been a wedding the night before and we were amazed at the quick turnaround — Madison handled it like a pro. Everything was ready for us to set up the next day!
A sweet personal touch: my husband spent the evening looking for a whiskey cup for his old fashioned (we managed to forget one and he wanted one instead of a plastic one) and Paul and Madison not only went and got him one, but they ordered some for future couples and guests too. They are amazingly responsive and genuinely care about every couple that had their wedding there, which is so incredibly special.
Our guests couldn’t stop raving — many said it was the most beautiful wedding they’d ever attended, and everyone loved the Alma/Wabasha area and staying at small rental properties so close to everyone else in Alma. It was truly our dream wedding and we wouldn't change a thing!

We couldn't have picked a more incredible place to have our October wedding this past year! It was the only place we toured and immediately knew it was the one. From the gorgeous and spacious venue, the breathtaking view atop the bluffs overlooking the Mississippi River, to the small town charm Alma, WI has to offer! This venue had everything we could dream of. Not to mention, Paul and Madison were so wonderful to work with. They have great tools that helped us to feel prepared and organized leading up to our day. They both communicate quickly, kindly, and always with excitement for our big day. They feel like friends we've known for a long time! Our DJ ended up breaking down 30 minutes out of town about an hour before he needed to be set up and Paul drove out to pick him and all of his equipment up, drove him to a motel after the wedding around midnight and brought him and his equipment back to his vehicle the next morning. None of which we knew until the day after! This is just one of the many ways they made our day flow smoothly and feel perfect despite any mishaps. We could not recommend them and the Overlook at Danzinger Vineyards enough and can't wait to go back to visit!

I can’t wait to come back for anniversary and continue to watch this place grow. They are wonderful owners and continue to do wonderful upgrades to the grounds and property. My husband, Lon and I, visited Danzinger as part of the Great River Wine trail summer cookout. It was beautiful! The wine and pasta were delicious! Where they lost us was serving their wine in plastic cups. Sitting out on the patio, enjoying the view and live entertainment was spectacular! Being the only guests drinking out of plasticware is where they lost us. Wine just tastes better in a real glass.

Our daughter had her wedding here in May and it was truly a dream venue. Such a beautiful property and the newer owners are doing an amazing job with all the remodeling they've done since they bought it. And owners, Paul and Madison, are fantastic to work with. We had just the most perfect day!

I recently photographed a wedding at Danzinger Vineyards and loved the separate (spacious) getting ready rooms, an incredibly beautiful outdoor venue location, and one of the prettiest views of the river valley around...
