The place was the highlight of my vacation up north! Great staff, great food, and the coolest bar/outdoor atmosphere I've ever seen. Burger was amazing and they have the weirdest fries that are absolutely delicious.

Not your usual bar. Interesting decor. Menu is unique for bar food. I started with Praag poppers to share and finished with the special: Pork tenderloin sandwich with 2 sides. Plenty to eat and loaded with meat. Prices are reasonable and service was good.

Take the winding roads through the coulee region of wild western Wisconsin and you will find Bucknuckles. There’s road base parking in front of a couple of rustic dark wood buildings with more farming and outdoor items ever to greet you than any other ‘bar and grill. There are also a couple of gals working there who are sure to warm your heart when you get to know them. And the owner is a pretty nice guy to chat with too. I toured the place and then ordered chicken drumsticks to go while a couple of guys my age sat at the bar talking about making pickles; and upgrading deer cams for photographing wildlife. So, if you are ever traveling in southwest Wisconsin with extra time on your hands, why not find your way to Bucknuckles. Then enjoy a cold beverage with one of their fantastic burgers and take time to look around at the collection of all things farming throughout the bar.

If you are stopping in just to have a drink and take on the ambiance you will enjoy your visit. If you are wanting to eat save your money and go anyplace else. The service was terrible and the food followed suit.

We are in the middle of a pandemic, I ordered a brisket sandwich from the outdoor stand and they assemble the sandwich with bare hands . The same hands that have been handling cash from other customers as well as who knows what else. Out of courtesy I paid for the sandwich basket but threw the sandwich away and only ate the chips. An expensive bag of chips. Also the condiments, ketchup mustard barbecue sauce etc are all public bottles that everybody’s touching. Sanitation is the key to getting past this pandemic, but Buckknucklers just doesn’t get it.

Stopped per recommendation of our campground host. The place is very cool! Spend time looking at all the collections and interesting creations! The owner is one creative guy! Nice outdoor seating with outdoor bar. Food was good and beer was cold.

It is a fun place to go. We just went and there was no social distancing. The worst part was no cleaning of menus in between customers. I really felt like it could have been cleaner. Food was ok.

Tell Bar was exactly what I was looking for and what I had read ... I have driven by the place and always thought it was closed but I bought some Brauenschwager and Brick Cheese that's supposed to be the Best damn stanky cheese around ...
