Stopped on the way to the UP. The place was disappointing. Service was horrible, food nothing to write home about; but there's not much up that way, so you take what you can get. Next time, we'll just keep driving.

Probably the best chili I have ever had! Burger was excellent too. Friendly staff and good prices. This is one of my go to bars for food when I visit the north woods. Highly recommended!
The staff were so nice and polite. The food was absolutely delicious. I was pleasantly surprised with my grilled shrimp dinner. They were plump and perfectly cooked and seasoned. I could not finish my fries, beans or coleslaw because the shrimp were so filling. My fiance had the walleye and the fillets were cooked perfectly as well and so tasty. We would recommend this place to anyone especially on a Friday night.
Went here on a Thursday night for their burger special, walked in a little later like 7:35 ish and the waitress, bartender and cook were sitting there talking. I asked for a menu and got attitude from the waitress saying it was almost time for the kitchen to close and the cook whining he was tired of cooking. Eventually I did get my burger it was ok tasting but after the rudeness i experienced I will not go back!!
A group of us stopped here on a UTV trip for a few refreshments. Good service and atmosphere.

Excellent Friday fish fry!! Cod bites, bluegill and Perch were on point!
