HORRIBLE service under the new owners! Would have left a negative star review if I could. My family has been patronizing this bar for well over 40 years, but will NEVER go back again. We showed up around 6pm for dinner. There were only 4 of us and probably about 15 other patrons (mostly at the bar). We sat ourselves since there was no direction or assistance from staff and waited for menus. After 5-10 minutes of being completely ignored by the discourteous woman behind the bar, we got up and got our own menus and reviewed them for another ten minutes...Still NO service from the rude woman behind the bar who kept glaring at our table as she talked on the phone and walked back and forth behind the bar. After nearly 15 minutes we decided to leave since they obviously didn't want our business and the 'bartender' was busy chit chatting behind the bar. Don't waste your time or $ here. Instead head down the road to Country Roads Bar and Grill where the food, service and specials are exceptionally superior to Northwoods which has, sadly, nosedived under the new ownership of Dan & Deb. If they continue to treat their customers like they did my family, they will be closing doors the same year they opened them!

I would leave zero stars, but it's not an option. Popped in for dinner... and never got as much as a hello. Gotta bunch of mean mugs and stairs. My wife had to go get the menus, and we sat there for 20 minutes, nobody even came to take a drink order, so we got up and left and went to Country Roads Bar and Grill at the intersection of Hwy. V and Hwy. W in Wausaukee, WI. Now this place was Awesome!!!! Was served right away and atmosphere was amazing, good music, good food, and a good time. Fast and friendly. After this, we'll never go back to Northwoods Bar and Grill ever again. I highly recommend Country Roads Bar and Grill over Northwoods Bar and Grill × 100. Choice is yours crappy service and atmosphere, over awesome service and atmosphere.

Like bars? This is a good one. Cash only. The food is bar food, but complements to the kitchen as it is tasty bar food. Best cheese curds I've had. The burgers are great as well.

Great place to grab a beer and hang out. Friendly bartender, a lot of places up here are more reserved or quiet places, this guy was a great host for us out-of-towners and seems to get along well with his regulars. Will definitely be back next vacation!

We went in with group of 6 Friday before deer season. Fast service. Perch plates were delicious, large portions, and reasonably priced. Definitely will be going back.
