This is the best brewery in Wisconsin, and possibly one you the best in the country. Incredible barrel-aged beers and tasty IPAs

Went to Central Waters on trip to Appleton/Green Bay for Cardinals vs Packers game. This brewery had some amazing bourbon barrel beer but a few good hazy’s. More barrel aged beer than I have ever seen at one brewery. They were great and nice outdoor area. Highly recommend for those craft beer fans!

This was on my short list of breweries to visit and I wish I had taken the time sooner. I have always enjoyed Central Water’s beer but nothing beats having a pint poured in the brewery itself. The malts & hops just have a way of tasting more vibrant & fresh. It was a great experience here.

Best Wisconsin brewery, period. That said, they also have a fantastic tap room. Every time I stop in I vow to come back more often. Still trying to get here more often.

Had spent the night in Waupaca and were happy to hear they were open on a Monday morning before heading back to the Madison area. Wish they were closer because it's an awesome space inside and out, great selection of beers and a friendly staff

This is one of my favorite breweries - awesome selection of stouts (my favorite!). I was initially put off by the prices, but they're well worth it; we always make a point to make the extra trip up to Amherst when we have the time.
Bartender is fabulous and allows us to sample before a sizable purchase - super grateful!!

My Favorite Beer Brewery... in Wisconsin...

Central Waters is a must stop on your brewery check list. If you like the beer you have found in stores and pubs this is a new level. They have all their standard selections, 3 of their bourbon barrel varieties, 4 seltzers, but best of all, they have 12 pilot and experimental beers you can only get here. On my trip they were test a new IPA, an imperial double hazy, a rice lager, a black coffee ale, a chai porter, a mosaic pale ale, helles lager, rye lager, a strawberry stout, a Belgian double, oatmeal stout, and a Baltic porter. They also had 5 flagship beers and 4 seasonals on including another helles, a coffee stout, a honey imperial IPA, and a peach tea wheat beer. They had another 7 beers in cans only and they had 4 speciality bombers. Their is no lack of beer to try here and they do a great job. The indoor bar area has an industrial design and sits in the brewery. They also have a decent amount of seating outdoors. This is a great brewery and I believe you will enjoy it as much as I.

Great place, great service and great beer.

Staff was so pleasant and friendly! Helped us choose flights that fit our pallette! Bought a bunch to take home to friends & neighbors, not as expensive as we thought. The patio is dog friendly! Food truck is always a good idea when drinking flights of Stouts!! We are thinking of camping nearby amd biking to/from sometime. Great destination! 1st time visit, definitely will be back.
