Blue Wave Inn & Sandbar Restaurant

Sooo luxurious and beautiful views!!!

It definitely had all the wonderful benefits of a hotel but did not feel like one at all. The rooms had more of a posch & homey feeling as they were not ordinary rectangular shape but had their own nuance of space.

The shower was insanely awesome with a waterfall and regular showerhead!

It was easy check-in, easy check-out, clean, beautiful views, and the cafe and store attached were really cute, cozy, and delicious.

It was a great middle ground place to meet our friends and decompress for the weekend.

What a lovely place! Room was fantastic and beautiful views. The cafe attached was so convenient and good too! The owner helped us get checked in and she was more than helpful and friendly. I would return and definitely recommend.

Had an enjoyable experience!

The food was simple and bland. My sandwich had nothing but meat and cheese. You basically had to wait on yourself. They even wanted to charge me for a refill of tea. Great view, but meal was somewhat disappointing.

Room was so nice, I dont have a lot of money but when I go on vacation I want a nice room. This place exceeded that, felt like I didnt deserve this! All employees are super sweet, and the owners are awesome! 1st trip up here and would love to come back!!

We stayed in room 3. Exceptionally clean and comfortable! We loved the deck overlooking the lake. Ceramic coffee mugs and real wine glasses. King size bed was comfy. And a jacuzzi tub, complete with robes! Breakfast sandwiches from the Sandbar restaurant (in the building) were amazing. Can’t wait to come back!

The room was perfect. What a great view of the lake. Great location easy to get to and quiet. Saw eagles every day including right on the roof of hotel. Good food and coffee options. Bed was comfortable and shower was very nice. Good location for sight seeing. One hour from Superior. Bayfield was near buy and a nice place to visit. Would definitely recommend this place for couples.

Amazing drinks and staff.

Love stopping at the cafe for a coffee drink or snack and sitting outside. Great location next to Sandbar beach. Right next door there are kayak and paddle board rentals.

Just returned from spending 4 days at the Blue Wave Inn and can't say enough good things about the inn. Room was spacious and well furnished with a deck overlooking Lake Superior. Location was perfect witih plenty to do and things to see. Staff was very accommodating, as well. I would certainly recommend a stay at the Blue Wave Inn.

Gorgeous, spacious rooms. Thoughtfully designed interior. Comfortable slept my family of 5!

Overall the best place I’ve stayed in a long time.
