We stayed here for the weekend. The room was excellent - spacious, clean and a great view (Flowing Waters room). The entire hotel is like a ship and very neat being right next to Lake Superior. Would definitely stay again.

Such a fun place with an amazing view!! I do wish they have some vegan options at the Sandbar, but that's only because I want to spend a lot of time here!

we always stop for lunch and a bloody Mary while in town and shop next door. Great sandwiches and soup!

I had a great stay at The Blue Wave Inn. Clean and comfortable. Made me feel like I was at home. The people working in the cafe and gift shop were super genuine and welcoming . It was a pleasure to stay . The cafe has really good food and coffee .

We had a baby party for our daughter and son in law. It's just a cool atmosphere. Staff were great. Owners were very flexible with what we could do. If we have a big first birthday for our first granddaughter it will be here.

Stopped in for coffee for the few days I was in town on business and the coffee, food, atmosphere and employees were all great! I did not stay in the hotel and only stopped in for breakfast.

Had a great 3 night stay at the Blue Wave Inn (Flowing Waters room). Weather was a bit iffy, but we still loved our stay. Windows open listening to the waves all night. The staff in the coffee shop was outstanding! Very friendly, very helpful with suggestions for places to visit. Gladly made a special order Latte for my wife. The room was impeccable. The deck is litterally right above the lake.Nearby activities: The only real issue with the hotel is that it is isolated. On a very busy road, but no road noise in your room as you are on the lake side of the building . Just nothing around it . It does have a bike trail with acces into town.

One of a kind location, rooms and experience. 10/10. Would recommend. Katie and Dave provide a seamless check in, amenities, and check out. A+++?

I have eaten lunch here twice, and both times were great. High quality ingredients, delicious food, and beautiful views (right on the lake). The perfect place to eat lunch and read a book. Friendly staff and nice facility. (I've never stayed in the hotel, but didn't want to give the rooms no stars.) Right next to the public beach.

Just stopped for lunch of smoked fish salad with almonds, kalamata olives and cheese. So good! Very casual, order at the counter. Lots of beverage options. Beautiful view of the big lake. Friendly staff. Clean bathroom. Right on US Hwy 2.Walkability: Next to a scenic pull off with plenty of parking. Not near downtown.Food & drinks: A nice varied menu. Salad was fresh. $16Looked like a full bar.Option of coffee and baked goods too.
