Here recently, had fish fry which was good. Excellent selection of local WI craft beers. Full wine & spirits too. Food was good here. Wife had several apps and enjoyed them. Prices a lil high but not too bad. Service was good from the younger servers, bartenders except the older lady with glasses(blond) who may or may not have been their boss. She freaked out iver everything including the new computer system which operated their register. She was nice to us but if your gonna b**** at ur coworkers or employees --do it in the back! Not in public, those ladies have ni chance to save face. If ur boss bitched at you in public , how would you feel? That older lady needs a lesson in how to treat people. But, im not looking for her to get fired. Everybodys got mouths to feed and bills to pay! - 1 star for her. 3 stars. Retrain her and its 4 stars. Worth a stop

I was hesitant after reading some of the other reviews, but I really enjoyed to food. I had the black bean burger and it was one of the best that I have had, my husband ordered chicken and waffles and he thought it was delicious, we got our kids the Mac and cheese from the main menu, one kid loved it and the other thought it was so-so. I tasted it and thought it was really good. We also had the smoked salmon BLT which was also delicious. House cut fries were really good. Side salad was typical. Service could have been smoother, but waitress was really nice and friendly and attentive enough.

I really wanted to like this place but the other reviewers are correct. My chili and salad came out quickly and the waitress was very nice and attentive. The salad I ordered was Cobb - there's very little to no meat in there. Disappointing

Great place to dine for both locals and vacationers. I have eaten here many times and the food never disappoints. The view of Lake Superior can't be beat!

Food was just okay and portion was skimpy. The waitress brought a salad and then I waited for over an hour for my main course. Waitress never came to refill my drink. She never even looked my way. Will not be coming back any time soon.

I don't feel like one goes to Molly Cooper's for the food... you go for the amazing patio and views. Don't get me wrong, the food is fine. I had the fish fry, which was a pretty generous serving for $18. And the wine is an equally generous pour for $5. Service was fine, but a little slow. It's a great place for cocktails, appetizers and a beautiful view.

Ok for drinks but I've heard bad things about the food, my own experience was seeing a staff person prepping food with no gloves take money from a customer, give change and went right back to prepping the food.
Take in the great view from the deck when you wait...and wait...and wait. SLOW service, but delicious cheese curds. Didn't stay for dinner as it may have taken a week.

We ate at Molly Cooper's on 8/18 and the experience was unbelievably poor. There is no waiting list for the deck. We were told to "hover" by a table until the diners were done eating and their table empty. Diners who were waiting lost out on tables to those pushier. Eventually we moved inside, to eat. Our waitress could not see to what our needs were. We had to ask for additional place settings and condiments. We were not asked if we desired refills or additional beverages. Our food was cold. Our waitress disappeared for long periods at a time and any service she provided would stop. We waited for our bill - I wanted to leave. We live in this area, so it is easy for us to write this place off. If I was a tourist, and this had been a vacation evening I would be terribly disappointed. I would be happy to talk to a dining room manager, if there is one available.

When we first walked in, we were impressed with the incredible lake view and atmosphere. Our drinks from the bar were delicious and we browsed the menu while waiting for a table outside. When we sat down, however, we waited approximately 20 minutes for anyone to serve us, while watching others who had sat down AFTER us recieve their drinks and appetizers. The manager finally stopped by and asked if we wanted another round of drinks. At that point we left and I asked for the check from the bartender. When i explained why we were leaving to the staff and my girlfriend voiced that she was upset, they completely disregarded our concerns and handed us the check without a word. So we ended up getting a pizza down the street where were promptly served. I definitely would not recommend this place to anyone.

The service was super slow and they never asked if we needed anything after the food arrived, no more drinks for us. Never asked how the food was. It was probably the worst French dip I've ever had. We had to go in to get our check. It wad also on a Sunday night. They had two servers, when we got there there were three tables with people, max of six tables while we were there, so it wasn't busy at all. The other server was better, she had drinks and food to other tables that got there after us. Very irritating. The others at my table thought there food was ok but nothing special.
