You can't even make up at how bad the service is at this place. It was as if I was complete burden to the young lady that had to take my order yesterday. It was even more of a burden to bring my food out to the table. No thank you.. no thank you for stopping in. I would have loved to have given this place a fantastic review. They have an amazing location! I travel through often, but this is the worst service I have received. They need to send their employees next door to the Mexican restaurant and receive training on how to provide quality "service".

They didn't even begin to fill our cups with coffee. I asked to fill them up more and they were still not full. Over an inch of foam in each cup. Lazy baristas.

Rude staff and management. Closed early for wedding but left doors open to public with no indication they were exclusively serving wedding goers. I walked in unawares to order and they treated me like a wedding crasher! Couldn't even make me a quick coffee drink for my inconvenience.

Been living here 2 years… HOW DID I NOT COME HERE BEFORE?! It’s great. My new fave chill place in Ashland. Good coffee, sandwiches and other stuff. Their water is ARTESIAN. I love it!

My boyfriend and I stayed here for our first visit to Ashland after our Madeline island trip, and this is a wonderful idea if the bar was opened later than 7pm. My other complaint is that for the cost of the rooms, you would think that the place would be clean on the inside and outside. On the deck, there were spiders, dead bugs & webs. I understand it is outside but it should be cleaned up better.
On a positive note, The view was amazing & coffees were delicious.

The girls working were rude. None of them greeted us when we walked in. They all looked like we were a bother to them by being there. They gave us the wrong coffee and tried to tell us a mocha iced coffee was a caramel vanilla latte. After a few mins they remade the drink the right way and gave it to us. Also my niece ordered a cinnamon roll to go and the girl slammed the plate down. Customer service is really bad there. Definitely won't be visiting again!

Cute venue, nice selection. Pretty busy when we visited. Mocha was good and the banana chocolate chip muffin was delicious! Bright, natural light space with great views of the bay.

We will always stop here when heading up the shore line and on the way back. The drinks are always amazing and the sandwiches are so filling. The layout of the place is amazing. You can sit downstairs and view the ice heaves in the winter (or the waves in warmer temps) or sit upstairs and see for miles. We’ve met a very interesting fellow here once and it was such a comfortable place to hear him talk about his life over coffee. We were in the upstairs room with the glass all around. Honestly, one conversation and coffee I won’t forget.Those who are staying in the Inn portion are lucky to have coffee right downstairs. Hopefully one day, my fiancé and I are able to stay here for a couple of days and just sip on coffee & people watch!
Parking: Lots of parking! We travel with our travel trailer and it was a breeze parking!

Stopped in had a curry carrot cup of soup. It was good soup I feel like it was missing something, but it was nice more of a subtle hint of curry with the carrot. Nice little spot on a gray autumn day.

Food was way better than I expected. I got the rocky sandwich and added pickles. Amazing. Staff was great and the cooks did an amazing job as well. Outside seating was great, super windy but worth it. Right on Lake Superior.
