Cute venue, nice selection. Pretty busy when we visited. Mocha was good and the banana chocolate chip muffin was delicious! Bright, natural light space with great views of the bay.

We will always stop here when heading up the shore line and on the way back. The drinks are always amazing and the sandwiches are so filling. The layout of the place is amazing. You can sit downstairs and view the ice heaves in the winter (or the waves in warmer temps) or sit upstairs and see for miles. We’ve met a very interesting fellow here once and it was such a comfortable place to hear him talk about his life over coffee. We were in the upstairs room with the glass all around. Honestly, one conversation and coffee I won’t forget. Those who are staying in the Inn portion are lucky to have coffee right downstairs. Hopefully one day, my fiancé and I are able to stay here for a couple of days and just sip on coffee & people watch!Parking: Lots of parking! We travel with our travel trailer and it was a breeze parking!

We had a baby party for our daughter and son in law. It's just a cool atmosphere. Staff were great. Owners were very flexible with what we could do. If we have a big first birthday for our first granddaughter it will be here.

Stopped in had a curry carrot cup of soup. It was good soup I feel like it was missing something, but it was nice more of a subtle hint of curry with the carrot. Nice little spot on a gray autumn day.

Food was way better than I expected. I got the rocky sandwich and added pickles. Amazing. Staff was great and the cooks did an amazing job as well. Outside seating was great, super windy but worth it. Right on Lake Superior.

Nice place to go to have coffee. Service is good, just keep in mind there is typically one person acting as the barista and the cook. Coffee and breakfast can be pricey! Can't beat the view.

Had the Rocky and Hermit sandwiches. They were both very good. SLOW service. Not very busy, yet I waited 20 minutes for two sandwiches. Bought some bakery items and they were old and stale. Not hurrying back.

A must stop if you are in Ashland! The service was fast and the ambiance was great- you have lake front views as you sip your drinks! They have a great patio with a fire pit, cute mugs to purchase, and nice clean bathrooms in the building! No offensive flags flying here either:) the pistachio/hazelnut latte was delicious, heavy on the hazelnut, but a solid 8.5/10. The maple cold brew with maple cold foam was delicious, subtly sweet, smooth, just perfect! 10/10 for sure! The specialty lemonade with blueberry was a very nice drink for my non coffee drinker who rated it an 9/10 (I'd give it a 9.5/10!). The baristas were friendly and the food people around us ordered smelled very enticing.
