I use oxygen tanks when I’m out and about and me and my sister wanted to quickly get food at the tablet… we waited over an hour for our food which at that point became rush hour which we wanted to avoid but also because of the S L O W deliver I wasted a whole precious hour of my oxygen tank time, I only get 4!! Really bummed I won’t be returning. ☹️

This was the first time ordering pizza, had nothing but great experiences ordering from their Chinese area but the kids making the pizza are EXTREMELY lazy and move with no purpose.
Another gentleman who ordered BEFORE us still was STILL waiting when we finally received ours. Manager walked past multiple times and acted as if we were all invisible.
Great pizza but DEFINITELY not worth it due to the rudeness, lack of attention and oblivious management

I've only gone here twice and it was a good experience both times. There is an excellent selection of food. I really like their cheese selection especially. There was a store employee in the cheese department that was very helpful and well informed. This was 12/16/23 around 2pm. He was about six feet tall with short grey hair and black glasses. I wish I would have gotten his name. Anyway, he gave me some of the best service I have had in a long time. Not saying other grocery stores haven't had great employees but this man was exceptional. I got some AMAZING white cheddar that was slightly sweet, unlike anything I have had before! Hats off to you sir! Thanks for being exceptional and friendly. Everyone there that day working was attentive and kind. The store was clean and well lit with great little restaurants. We will go again when we are on that side of town. Give that man a raise!

Spent 45 min reviewing the on-line sales and wrote the prices down. Once at the store multiple items had different prices posted than on-line. Mentioned to employee in produce that there were 2 products priced differently than the ad and got "yes, these are wrong." Asked another employee how much rotisserie chickens were "$3.99 with your Perks card". At the checkout it rang up as $8.99 and when I pointed it out, she corrected it. What she didn't do was tell me there was a "new" Perks card and none of my sale items rang up as expected. When I got home I checked my receipt and was overcharged for 9 items totaling $7.63 (would have been 13.63 if I hadn't noticed the chicken). 35% of my total items were overcharged! I did get a new card but will only go to Hy-vee for super sales and their bread. Nothing is special about this store. I will continue to spend my hard earned food dollars at Piggly Wiggly (best meat deals anywhere) and Woodman's (overall best produce, product selection and pricing). If you shop there, beware of being ripped off, which by the way, "bait and switch" laws make very clear this practice is illegal in retail.

Beware! You better confirm and re-confirm your catering at Hy-Vee. This review is for the catering department, not the store (I like the store!). The catering department completely blew my food delivery for a business meeting today... even though I confirmed it a few days ago! The whole catering department seems disorganized. Today, when my food was not delivered at the scheduled time, I called to check what was going on. After being passed (on the phone) to 3 different people, and almost 15 mins later I was told they missed my order! How does that happen?? Shame on me... red flags where waving when the "catering specialist" took my order... like not getting my email for a confirmation or taking my credit card for payment, I should have followed my gut, and re-confirmed the morning of the delivery. But I didn't. So now we sat hungry at our meeting.... With 15 unhappy customers! Needless to say.... Not giving this place another chance! Shame on them...how do you take an order, and nobody sees it on the computer? Or maybe just they don't have a system in place? Think twice. Or at least confirm twice, before you use Hy-Vee Catering!

I am SO impressed with the bakery. My son was requesting a “train cake”, so we went and talked to the head baker and she drew up a plan, complete with the exact colors he wanted. It turned out beautiful!
I'm not certain why all the poor reviews but Hyvee is definitely my favorite grocery store. The store is always very clean and inviting. Shelves are well stocked and as a vegetarian, the options are perfect. Produce is always fresh and well stocked. The bakery section is great as well. The staff are always friendly. During the opening period, there was some slowness as employees found a groove, but that seems to have resolved itself.

Nice, modern-interior grocery and other things store (even Packer and UW gear!) and a huge liquor department. Employees were helpful and friendly. Not much to complain about, but also not much to write home about. They probably do have some specialty items that might not be found at Festival and the like, but I wouldn't go out of my way to shop here.

A fun place to stop on a cold day. It's large to be able to walk around a lot. Overall though I would not do my grocery shopping there. For one i found it expensive compared to other large stores. The prices seems more comparable to a small store that you would go to for convenience. The place is big and so is the parking. I couldn't see getting in and out quickly but maybe that will change as the newness wears off.
