Way overpriced.. burger was dry as cardboard, gave free cookies, couldn’t eat it that bad. Who screws up a cookie! has not been good for some time now. Not going back & no recommendation
The service was absolutely terrible. It was 7 pm on a Friday and not busy - that should have been a clue. we ordered our drinks and never got them, we never saw that waiter again he took our order left and we wanted to order something else, but he never came back. It took 40 minutes to get our food and still no drinks. The burgers were cold and ranch dressing was horrible tasting. Way overpriced for what it was… This place used to be fantastic and has definitely gone downhill.
Terrible service and management, went on a Saturday night before a greenbay packers game. You have to sit your self ( which I'm fine with, most restaurants here are that way) but any empty tables are not cleared for 10+minutes. Finally waited for a cleaned table. (Alot of people sit at the dirty tables until they are cleared). 10 minutes of waiting we were able to place our order which was taken down on paper, no modern day Point of Sale. Waited another 20 mins with no drinks or food. Our group of 4 left after wasting at least 30mins there. They dont have an excuse, there are plenty of bigger bars and restaurants in the area completely packed, cranking out food and drinks. This is not my 1st time to greenbay so I do know what it's like there football game weekends. Only thing really good there is there butter burgers. Better off getting them game day when they have there food trucks open. Way quicker and competent service.
Love the atmosphere... they must be a tad short of help... tables needed bussing, no cashier at the entrance.. but the place was clean and food was great

I love this place, but it is slipping. Bartenders send out Old school old fashioned with zero garnish. The waitress asked if we wanted brandy or if it was sweet or sour. Waitstaff needs to learn the menu. A more experienced waitress fixed this issue, but the bartender used the wrong soda. I give grace because I want this place to be awesome. We have been served drinks with no alcohol at all in the past, and it's sad. Cmon Krolls! Get it together!
Good food! Awesome location!
We heard about this online before visiting. It’s a large restaurant with friendly staff. We got burgers and cheese curds of course!
Would recommend for anyone visiting Green Bay!

It smelled so good outside of charbroil. The menu looked great. The food was disappointing. I was looking forward to a great burger and I got an overcooked and dry burger. They did make a great drink. My wife ordered the sliced prime rib on a hoagie and the meat was grey and tasteless. Very disappointed.

I can’t speak to food or service, since we waited in a long line to get a beer, but it was Packer game day, so every popular bar had long lines. The atmosphere, however, was amazing with a great live band pumping out a loud rock beat and lots of happy friendly people. Great place to pre game and post game! VictorB

I have been coming here since it opened. Two weeks ago I placed a order for carry out & when I got home didn’t have my bowl of chili, so I called right away & she took my name & said she would talk to manager. I just placed another order & had to talk to a manager ( Julia ) about my bowl of chili that is owed to me & she would not honor it. She wasn’t very nice to me on the phone so I told her Kroll’s just lost my business.
Made a stop at Kroll’s West while in town. I had the butter burger — it was good, not necessarily life-changing, but definitely worth trying. The cheese curds hit the spot, and the highlight for me was actually the broasted chicken I sampled from my friend’s plate — that was outstanding. Service was a little on the slow side, but our waitress was very friendly and made us feel welcome. Overall, it’s a classic Green Bay spot with solid food and a laid-back vibe.
Have gone there for years. Service at the table was great but the hamburgers tasted like cardboard. I took one bite and that was it. Two other people at my table had the same experience. Don’t know what they are doing differently but it was awful. When the hostess at the register asked how the food was I asked if she really wanted to know and she replied that she didn’t make it!
Very solid diner food, with a great, straight out of the past feeling. My husband had the hot beef and mashed potatoes, which he ate every single bit. I had a burger and fries. The burger was tasty and the bun was great.
We have decades of history at this place, going back to childhood in the 80's and have always had a decent experience. Not this time, we were there before a rainy pre-season Packer game and it wasn't especially busy, food came relatively quickly, but the vibe from the servers was marginal at best, not the least bit friendly. It was $15 for a burger - no sides, not even a pickle. Not served in a basket, they were just plopped on our table in a paper wrapper - we had to ask for plates. It was $40 for a large pizza, which was decent, but way more food than we needed - we wanted a medium and they said they only can make a large - what?? the menu had small & medium listed as options. And of course we left a third of it uneaten, couldn't take it to-go because we were going right to the stadium. And they only accept cash... really?? Don't believe the online menu prices - if you go on game day, prices are jacked up and the gouging is unfortunate...
