awsome food, great salad bar and the waitresses are so friendly

Everything we ate met or superseded our expectations! The soup and salad bar has many choices on it, everything looked fresh on it every time we have eaten there. It’s a very laid back place and we felt very comfortable from the minute we walked in the door until the time left. I would very much suggest giving this place a try.

Classic country Supper Club. No reservations unless your party is 6 or more. Have a few cocktails while you wait for your table. Full salad bar and great steaks! One of the specialities is the gizzards they are on the salad bar and i definitely recommend that you at least try them, I was nervous at first but they are actually awesome! Excellent service every time!

Love Nimrods! We come up to Asthelstane once a year to do some Atving. Nimrods is always a highlight of our trip. Bar staff is great. Friday fish fry is amazing! We love the salad bar and gizzards are well known across northern Wisconsin. Never left disappointed!

It was our first time trying Nimrod's and it was very good. Had to wait for a table on a Sunday night about 20-30 minutes. They have a nice sized bar area where we waited with some drinks for our table. Once seated service was good and the food was amazing. I had the family style broasted chicken. Tasted like having Thanksgiving dinner at Grandma's house. It was homemade and everything was spot on including the chicken which was crispy but not too greasy, mashed potatoes and gravy plus stuffing and corn were all excellent. My husband had the walleye and was given two huge portions of walleye. Again breading was crispy and not greasy, his twice baked potato was perfect also. Will definitely be back to try more of their menu!

Double check your bill. Wife and I had 1/2 chicken special for Thursday with salad bar for 15.00 each. 2 sodas and bill was 70.00 dollars. Didn't realize we're over charged until back at our motel.

I messaged to find out about Sunday Prime Rib The response was fast, We headed over with a couple friends, greeted as we came in and sat very quickly around 4pm I haven’t seen a salad bar like this in a long time, everything you could ask for😋 Warm bread too Prime Rib was so tender…I got the Queen cut and ate every bite … Thank You for a fantastic meal

Nimrod's is an excellent bar/ restaurant. Between the bar tenders and the waitstaff, everyone is always polite and courteous. The salad bar is great and the main dishes are second to none. Never been disappointed in 12 years. They also have gizzards!!! Thanks Nimrod's for the good times!
